For the past several years, I have been active in the movement to end violence against women and my passion lies in creating networks of support for people in need of them. I also find interest in history, social justice theory and philosophy, surrounding myself with friends/family, cold beer and kick ass live music:)....not necessarily in that order!

I'm gainfully employed and I tend to be a bit of a workaholic so if you need a friend/dating partner who is available every night after work, I'm not your girl. However, I tend to have a lot of flexibility around my schedule and make time for the important people in my life.

I'm at the point in my life where I'm interested in finding a long term relationship that has the potential to grow into marriage, children and the whole deal. I'm excited about making a future with a partner I can also call a best friend.

My main focus in life right now is work...work and maintaining healthy friendships with family and friends. The people in my life define my world.

Keeping the people around me entertained with witty conversation, sarcastic remarks and quick come backs. Also, I'm good at being an advocate for those in need/crisis and at being the voice of calm and reason for friends needing support. Beyond that, I'm a total detail diva;)...I excell at organization, planning events, and being the "social nexus" of my friend group.

My smile, eyes and facial expressions. I have a very expressive face (which can be good and bad!) and I tend to smile a lot.

Either having dinner/drinks with friends or hanging out at home...relaxing from a long week with my dog:-).

I am chronically anxious about arriving ridiculously early at the airport and I HATE mornings and it's obvious to those who have the misfortune of experiencing it. That's it...that's all you get.

You should message me if you could be supportive of a partner with a demanding career and career ambitions. Contact me if you know how to go out and good time but also appreciate quiet evenings at home. Also, you'd have to be interested in a woman who will keep you on your toes by challenging your intellect, endurance and mostly likely your patience:).

If you can offer respect, a decent level of maturity, an open mind, empathy and humor I'd like to hear from you. Humor (especially sarcastic humor) is a gigantic plus so if you can make me laugh...consider it a done deal.
