My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I keep adding to this profile, but not as iteratively as I would have hoped.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Getting my masters, acquiring internships, breathing.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Awkward pauses, not sleeping, reading, occasional sleuthing (I have, if very rarely, been included in a "I would have gotten away with it if weren't for those meddling..." comments).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My shiny bald head! It's an active camouflage (I'm rather impressed that I spelled 'camouflage' without aid of spell check!), no one can look at the glare on top of my head on a bright day.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Ender's Game, Dune, American Gods. Anything by Neil Gaiman is super, Heinlein is a golden god, and Brandon Sanderson is an up and coming favorite. If I can't find anything new to read or listen to, I read the Dresden Files.

Movies: I watch a lot of them. Have a love for classics like Casablanca, Charade, and Arsenic and Old Lace. Love Noir, Action, and the occasional sappy drama.

Shows: Too many... Favorites include CASTLE, Dexter, Supernatural, USA shows (Burn Notice, White Collar, etc.), and the Walking Dead. Continuum is surprisingly palatable as well.

Music: Gaslight Anthem, Motion City Soundtrack, Muse, AWOLnation, The Beatles, Metric, Guster, Daft Punk, Alt-j, Atlas Genius, and The Ambassadors. Been on more of an indie rock funk at the moment, and I'm always up for a capella music and symphonic music (someone should come with me to the symphony at the Pritzker Pavilion).

Food: I'll try anything twice. Except the 'kraut... Tried that five times, and it isn't happening.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I don't know if I should eschew the necessities (food, water, organs, air) or just create a completely ridiculous list of things (John Stamos, kiwis, and aardvarks).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The constant mental debate of whether the tortoise or the bear is my totem animal. Fitting current songs I'm listening to into my thoughts to describe moods and moments. Also, thinking of something witty to say five minutes after appropriate.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Well, how I spent my Saturday was much more interesting this week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a Red Wings fan.

You are ridiculous, but in an astonishing and beguiling way.
