I was born in the wrong time. I should have been a courtesan, or a modernist poet who had a famous writer husband and a torrid affair with a starlet.

I'm an atheistic pantheist. I lean to the left politically. I love intelligent discussions that cover a wide variety of topics.

I graduated in May with my Bachelors in Religion. I am getting my second BA in English. I write a lot of poetry for school.

I play World of Warcraft a lot, and I occasionally role-play. I read a lot and I actually enjoy school. I watch movies that I've seen already while doing something like making jewelry or drawing.

I have one rat, two ferrets, and three cats. I love my animals.

knowing myself, knowing others and getting to know them, writing to do lists, writing poetry (I'd like to think), making a complicated subject understandable for someone, inserting movie quotes into regular conversation, finding the flaws in arguments, questioning beliefs, being an atheist that's still fascinated by and appreciates certain aspects of religion, sarcastic humor..... sounding vain by listing a bunch of things that I'm good at...

I also know a lot of random facts and trivia, which I bring up whenever anybody says something that reminds me. Or whenever I want to see the look on someone's face when I tell them that teenage male dolphins go off and have gay sex or they go crazy...

My voice. I either speak softly or have trouble with the concept of an inside voice. It's a tiny voice, but it seems to carry.

Depending on who you ask, I come across as intimidating or innocent.

I could go on forever about books, movies, music and food. I know what I like, but I'll try something new if you suggest it.

With music, I can find something I like in any genre. I tend to like specific songs rather than bands though. I think it's weird when people like every single song one band has ever done. I have an embarrassing love for 80s pop especially New Wave. At the moment, I particularly like Muse, Radiohead, Portishead, The Decemberists, The Bravery, Panic! At The Disco, Interpol, The Beatles, The Strokes, Paul Oakenfold, Daft Punk, and Depeche Mode.

Food: Thai, sushi, Greek, and dessert. Additionally, I like red wine, iced tea, hot tea (hibiscus, chamomile), chai with soy milk lattes, Walk Me Downs and Irish Car Bombs (the latter two only for serious drinking).

Aside from the bare necessities that everyone needs to live and function in society, I submit for your perusal:

Philosophy, in general. I like to think about how the world is and how it should be.

I also spend an inordinate amount of time wondering what I'd do if I got sent back into the past, barring communication problems...and whether I'd get burned as a witch for wearing pants.

I also think about the future, imagining virtual worlds, space colonization, and all the nifty things we have to look forward to.

Oh, and... I spend a lot of time talking about sex, but I'm far too ethical to sleep with everything that moves. So if I'm talking about sex, it's because it's a cool topic, and I thought about getting a masters in human sexuality. It's not necessarily me trying to get in your pants... Unless your pants are sexy. And my ethics agree.
