My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I only use this site for the tests, dudes. (This place doesn't even do the fun quizzes I signed up for so many years ago anymore, but I'm leaving this in for posterity/proof of elderliness.) And apparently I have to write a certain amount of words for it to accept my submission of this "essay" so here they are! Extra words! Hooray. The end.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Moved from Tennessee to Texas a couple of years ago, and now I'm doing the whole adulthood thing without actually being an adult. Go me?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Talking to people. Relating to people. Making everyone feel comfortable. Reading. Spellin'. (seriously. champion speller) Crosswords. Ice skating. Braving my fears to try stuff people tell me is "totally great, dude." Grammar. Board games - but not the Monopoly variety. Ask me about my sweet collection of tabletop games (and my love of Wil Wheaton's Tabletop series).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My hair is always something different. The color changes monthly, if not more often. Also, I'm usually the first to come up and say hello, so I imagine that's fairly noticeable! But I'm not bubbly or perky. Pretty flatly normalized in my conversation, rather.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I love Stephen King - especially the Dark Tower series. And damn it, i LIKE Ayn Rand. To hell with all you haters.

I really liked The Departed. But usually I go for thinking movies like Mulholland Drive, and Memento, and things like that. I feel useless when I'm watching a movie that requires me to do nothing but stare at the pretty pictures on the screen.

Music-wise, I'm pretty broadly ranged. I listen to everything from The Smiths to She&Him to Bon Iver to Tool to Guster to Martina McBride to Tom Petty to Kenny Rogers to Sum41. I have no shame.

If a food has chicken, cheese, or pasta in it, I can be counted on to put it in my mouth.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-My book collection

-My cell phone

-My laptop

-My family

-My friends

-Aaaand, my Squaresoft games.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
world peace. Or something.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Cramming for my Saturday sign language class with several glasses of wine as a study aid.

Yeah, I went literal with this one, sorry. Should have gone with the old "friends/bars/chilling" standby. Shit.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I cried at the end of The Notebook. I'll kill anyone who spills that secret.
