G-d comes first. Now before I go on with any description of myself. I would like to first say that I know that my head is not covered in my pic yet you can't see anything (smile). However I do cover! I also pray 5 times a day. I don't judge because your worship is between you and the most high. I'm an intelligent African American female. I am modest, simple, sweet, and considerate. I have traveled around the world. I've climbed the Great Wall in China, saw the Forbidden City, been on safari in Kenya, visited the gardens festivals of Bangalore, India and saw the beautiful hill stations near Chennai. I've been to Germany, France, and Amsterdam. I HAVE NEVER BEEN IN THE MILITARY. I have simply been blessed to see different places and it certainly humbles you and makes its seem foolish to have ever complained about where you live. I just came back from a wonderful cruise and I hope to do it again one day soon. :) . Anyway I have no doubt that the most high will help me complete my deen by sending someone special my way. Insha Allah, I hope that everyone else here will also complete their religion by finding their mate. :)

Lately I've been doing a lot of reflecting...soul searching... If you will. I've had the opportunity to do great things in my life and I'm eternally grateful for these experiences. I will say that almost every milestone in my life pales in comparison to having that person that loves you and will stick by your side unconditionally. Being alone sucks and I'm longing to complete the circle by finding my mate. My focus now is learning how to let go a bit more. I'd admit that I've been guarded. Everything looks good from surface. I'm extremely far from perfect myself so I'm certainly not looking for a superman. I want someone who is not infatuated and caught up on physical appearances, mature, and young at heart. Is that order to tall to fill?! ;)

making other's feel comfortable. Laughter is what keeps up youthful, so it's okay to laugh and be thankful that it does't cost a thing for that! I know that we all crave attention as much as we like our space. Finding the balance is key because everyone is different.

I could come off as being reserved or even shy at first however, when you get to know me, you'll see that I am anything but that. I like to make others laugh. When was the last time you smiled at someone...it just might lift their spirits or even make their day. After all it takes only a dozen facial muscles to smile while it takes over 40 to frown.

I like spiritual books such as the intelligent heart & the pure heart, In the footsteps of the Prophet as well as a host of other spiritually enlightening books. On the more playful side I like Eat-Pray-Love, the time traveler's wife, motivational books, self improvement books, and books on healthy eating. As far as movies go I like all kinds, even documentaries. I am big fan of sketch comedy and comedians like Dave Chappelle and Russell Peters. Music is an universal language so I like good music of all walks. Food; some American, Indian, Medditerrean, Ethiopian, vegitarian, raw foods, and many more. I love all types of food and I'm open to new food experiences.

Things that effect humanity. There is not enough love to go around. Whether we want to acknowledge it or not, we are all connected as one human race, so everyone is effected. The proof of this is when tragedy strikes, you see people of all races pulling together to help one another and help sometimes comes from the places least expected. Don't let hate or fear keep you from a potential opportunity to learn something new.

Like to hang out with family or friends. I like to also strum my guitar, blog, have intellectual conversation. Ahhh the possibilities are endless... I can be super competitive so I love games. Whether its Xbox, boardgames, basketball, or just kickin' it, I'm sure to enjoy myself.

I can sometimes be very critical ( a virgo trait) especially of myself but I am learning to let go and let live. Life is too short to care about things that are out of your control. Problems have solutions and all will not be solved in an instant so patience is necessary.

If your Muslim...not a racist, not suffering from cultural hang ups. Intelligent without being arrogant. If your open minded, considerate and put G-D first. Also if your into gadgets...geek is so sheik. ;)
