My self-summary
my head touches the ceiling in some cars, and my feet pull tucked sheets out of the bed, and yet, having lanky legs and long digits doesn't seem to preclude me from having somewhat childish amounts of energy.

I like to spend my time create in physical space, 2D forms of expression are great, but theres something about building, forming, sculpting a...something...which gets me all fired up.

In friendships I tend to focus on the people directly around me, and can lose track of the friends ive made elsewhere . I put a lot of weight on face to face communication with my friends, housemates, family, and partner.
What I’m doing with my life
I moved back to san diego 2 years ago to change careers and will soon be staring a masters in architecture in August. Currently I'm working on a product design and prototyping company, which takes up a lot of my time, otherwise i try to swim at the cove several times a week and bbq or get out of town on the weekends. Recently i've started into yoga, and someday soon i hope to be able to touch my toes without bending my knees.
I’m really good at
working with solar radiation and melanin to produce an amazing amount of spots all over my body... i can make a damn good omelette.
The first things people usually notice about me
red hair, freckles, i dont know...dust?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
i would say ever changing, but some bits that stick...cave singers, donovan, neutral milk hotel, the boss, fleetwood mac. most albums/singers i hear, i fixate on a specific song and deem it a favorite, until i burn out on it. swimming song by loudin wainright III, end of the day by doug paisly, paper bag by fiona apple, dont this look like the dark by magnolia electric co...get the idea?

in books, i love those that cover the cross over of history and science. the why of things. some examples are "stiff", "salt", "the elegant universe", "chaos" and most anything by james gleick, "freakanomics", etc

Ive sunk into posdcasts, the last couple months. some if the most prominent are startalk, ted radio hour, radio lab, 99% invisible, memory palace...

and in movies, i love those that get my blood pumping, laugh/cry. something that will take me by surprise
The six things I could never do without
a workshop, a scrap yard, a good beer, the people i love and maybe some inappropriate humor. ill save the last for something that hasn't presented itself yet.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
how little time i seem to ever have, and how much more i can pack into it, and consequently how will i deal with the stress of completing everything i start
