My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Follow this recipe:

Grab a Computer Science graduate from your pantry. Now remove the pocket protector, glasses and unkempt hair.

Add in a giant love of board games! Board games, board games! :D

Add a pinch of personality that enjoys an intimate conversation (as opposed to having voices drowned out within a mob).

Subtract rural living (I was disillusioned by a childhood experience where I was the only child of my age within a radius of 10 miles), which leaves a big-city person.

Spice things up with the colour purple (I like this colour).

Excuse my British spelling, that's how I write, right?

Stir this concoction well.

And you get me.

Serves One.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work as an Engineer at a Media company. It's fun.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

Teaching board games.
And having fun. Playing board games. :)

I have written testimonials from people about how well I teach 'em! (on :p
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I used to read a lot of fiction, but these days I find myself gravitating towards non-fiction.

The books I've read would probably fill the whole page, but some examples in no particular order include: Khalil Gibran, Issac Asimov, J R R Tolkien.

The books I read most recently would be The Other Eight, followed by Old Man's War.

I listen to all genres of music, barring gangster rap. I don't like the misogynist messages it sends.

My most listened to artists are Kate Bush and Live, but there are songs I love that I've heard so, so much!

I love food, of all types. I do prefer my food to have a little zing to it, but I dislike heat for the sake of making the food hotter; it should add some flavour to the food.

I prefer salty to sweet unless it's chocolate. And in the event of chocolate, the darker the better!

Board Games
I LOVE board games. I prefer cooperative games over competitive ones. Examples include: 7 wonders, Race for the Galaxy, Pandemic, Settlers of Catan; though I've played many more!

Computer Games
I enjoy playing computer games, too. I play League of Legends (currently platinum in solo queue); and Civilization V. I also enjoy point and click adventure games, and I have a PSP Vita for RPGs on the go (Persona 4 Golden).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The stuff in Maslow's pyramid, but barring the obvious (electricity, internet, computer, shelter, hot water, food), nothing I can't do without.

But yeah, I do <3 things like fountain pens...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Learning Japanese. I can write Hiragana and kinda speak it a bit, I need to perfect Katakana. I know a handful of Kanji, but I hope to learn more as time progresses!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I was on the NY Post in August last year for this thing they were doing...

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to have a fun, fun time playing board games.
(Don't think boring, stodgy stuff like Monopoly. No, this is the good stuff)
And I know this really nice cafe where we could; you know...
