I am currently in an open relationship with a my husband, so I'd like to meet people for awesome dates and adventures. Since I am in a relationship already, I'm not looking for anything exclusive, but I AM interested in lasting relationships that are fulfilling in more than just a sexual way. Companionship and closeness are equally important to me. I’m looking for someone to lounge around on a Saturday morning with just as much as I’m looking for someone to go out with on Saturday night.
There seems to be an unfortunate misconception that, because I am in an open relationship, I am interested in helping people cheat on their partners, that I am only interested in sex, and that I don’t require snuggles. These things are false. If we hang out, we should be pal-worthy before we can be anything else.
It's also worth mentioning that, unlike a lot of poly people, we keep our relationships pretty separate, so dating me does not mean also dating my husband, though if you hang around long enough, you'll probably meet him. You will not be expected to go on "family" picnics or awkward double dates or to use that weird crystal deodorant :)
