I'm multifaceted and hard to label. I can be shy around strangers but very open around friends. I'm fairly well educated and traveled and value learning new things about the world. I can be silly and serious, often in the same conversation. I dress for the occasion.

I"m a big anglophile. I am going to summer school at Cambridge this July so I am always interested in meeting someone British. Yet I am also open to meeting anyone near or far if they are interesting. I value loyalty, intelligence, and romance in a relationship.

I'd like to meet someone who is intelligent, passionate, stylish, and who has dreams and goals. I'd like to meet someone to share adventures with, travel near or far, and have conversation.

Is that too much to ask for OK Cupid? I live in hope it's not.

I'm a writer writing other people's stuff to make a living. I was once a military historian and still consider myself more a historian than a writer. I dream of being my own boss. Towards that end, I am working on three novels at the moment. I also volunteer.
