My self-summary
Loving my first year of medical school in Cleveland!! The weather, not so much. I am quite sure that I will be 1) in debt for the next 20 years, and 2) absolutely enjoy my career path and choice. Walking into the ER makes me smile, using a stethoscope makes me giddy, and watching neurosurgeries during spring break is fun.

I am alternately pensive and quiet or loud and exuberant. Spin the wheel and see which version you get today!

I believe that we should live like we mean it - to "drink life to the lees". Sure, there are bad moments, but there should be enough good moments to make all the stress worth it. Every sweet, sharp, excruciating, beautiful, impossibly wonderful thing deserves to be treasured, They may be silly or insignificant to others, but to those who care, they are priceless.
What I’m doing with my life
Working on med school and (despite scrambling up for 8AM seminars) loving it.

I am the proud doting mommy of an adopted 4 yrs. old papillon. Please do not even message if the sight of a wiggly bundle of fur and perky ears won't make you smile.
I’m really good at
If I do say so myself, I am a pretty good student...

I am a fairly decent musician, a good listener, and a reliable center-of-sanity for those who don't have one.

I am also getting better at ballroom dancing - a sport I picked up by pure coincidence, but will never stop loving.
The first things people usually notice about me
I am really tiny, but quite loud. I would like to think that I am fun-sized.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
To me, life's greatest joys include music and food. I am a classically trained pianist and flautist, and music has been and always will be part of my life. Don't you feel a thrill when a particular chord or line of lyric touches you deep inside, making you a little different because of it? And sometimes, a piece of music finds the primal part of us that resonates in our bones - dangling us over the precipice of tears, bringing goosebumps to our arms, or urging us to stomp, dance, and whip our hair. THAT, my friend, is why music is beautiful. THAT is what makes us feel alive. From classical symphonies to Lady Gaga, if I find that feeling in a piece of music, I'm game.

Back on the subject of food - did I mention that I love food, as in almost all food? I especially love Asian food of all kinds, and if I can subsist entirely on sushi, I think I probably could happily manage.
The six things I could never do without
A reason to smile (or cackle unabashedly like a crazed banshee)
The urge to dance
Access to knowledge
Purpose in life
On a typical Friday night I am
doing whatever fancy (or most likely necessity) demands - work, dance, chill, or sleep.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
As lovely as me saying that I love hikes and mountains would be, I don't. I am the antithesis of a nature-lover. Not that I do not appreciate the beauties of nature, but I really do appreciate the comforts of modernity so much more.
