In the words of Albert Einstein: "I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious." I have an insatiable intellectual curiosity, although I often have doubts as to my intelligence. Self-esteem is something I have long struggled with. I am in recovery from my near-death encounter with anorexia nervosa, and try to make the most of my second chance. However I know I am happiest when my mind is engaged. I love to debate issues, particularly with other open-minded people. I am passionate about my opinions and ideas, but am always open to changing them. I believe in having a multiplicity of "-isms" so that I am a slave to none.

Having "died" many times, I have a dynamic personality. I am always changing and fluctuating. Each fragment of my self still resides in me; I feel like I am many people, many worlds.

I am an empathetic and sensitive person - at times to a fault. Sometimes I feel the pain of others more than my own. I am always interested in hearing what a person thinks and feels; I am interested in their story. I am averse to small talk and superficiality. I am in love with the world.

Imagination, Knowledge, and Compassion are the most important things to me.
