A little extra
Christianity and laughing about it

My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Why summarize when you can just answer all the questions?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working (from home), considering a career transition, being happy, and currently filling out this inane box....trying to abstain from answering yes/no questions on here....taking an inordinate amount of the silly tests on this site, and deleting the ones I don't like the answers to. Spending way too much time watching Breaking Bad marathons. I do love me some Walter White. (Personal Ad Hook: Happy Hour, anyone? ;)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
...a lotta stuff.... I can pound nails, manage a $20M budget, make pasta from scratch, irritate my kids ad nauseum, pick up dog poop, participate in homeowner association revolutions, and convince others to my point of view.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
my bald head....and I suppose the grin that's usually plastered on my face. Ever notice that grins are different than smiles? You know, more engaging, I think....although your opinion is more than welcome (as long as you agree, of course!)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I won't bore you with a list--I'm suspicious that many on here just copy down the bestseller list from some random website in an effort to appear erudite and well-read. But I read for relaxation and distraction, and have always been a fan of mysteries and thrillers.
Movies, sure I like movies. I love my DVR even more! Skipping through the commercials makes me feel oh so powerful, don't you agree? And WHEN did it become the norm to cram 12 commercials into anything worth watching, every 10 minutes?
Music, a child of the 60s and 70s, classic rock is my roots, and I like a lot of the current country as well. I can even do a passable NASCAR redneck accent.
Ahhhhhhhhh, FOOD! Spicy, varied, ethnic, stuff that's NOT good for you, as well as a burgeoning veggie/healthy recipe book. That's right, this guy can cook, even in the kitchen! ;)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Hmmm...(work in progress, so don't hold me to it)
Draft #1:
My DVR, iphone, and Kindle.
Stolen steamy kisses.
My 2 amazing kids, of course.
.....(end of draft #1)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why I'm resorting to a dating website, being prompted to answer questions about pubic hair and nuclear war. And why I used the word "erudite" twice already.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Watching a movie, out at Happy Hour with friends, or, wait for it, this is EXCITING stuff.....doing laundry.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'll trade ya....private "thang" for private "thang". It's only fair.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
you're not into long drawn out message exchanges, enjoy laughing with somebody new, or have a deep-seated need to ferret out secrets (see above).
PS. If your eyes sparkle with mischief on a regular basis, you should DEFINITELY message me. Juss sayin....;)
