Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm looking for someone to share adventures around town with and
maybe adventures out of town. I'm new-ish to Montrose, just moved
in from the Houston burbs, and want to explore the area and meet
other inner loop Houstonians.
I'm sweet, caring, and a little bit of a goof ball.
I have an office job in town, cube and all, and have yet to meet
many people (or single men) outside of the office. I thought
OkCupid might be a good start!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Going to the gym in the morning and then moving onto work at a
massive travel agency most days.
Literally, that's my life. I need more activities, there has got to
be interesting things to do in Houston. I just haven't discovered
them all yet.
I go off and travel the world alone for a couple of weeks once or
twice a year. It's my passion and is the main reason I show up to
work each day.
Note: I've never been on a mission trip. I'll just fly to new
places to see new things and meet new people and then fly home two
weeks later. Simple as pie.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making big life decisions on the fly. One day I'm living in Dallas
and then the next day I'm living in Australia for 3 months because
"why not?". One day I'm working at a Travel Agency and then the
next day I'm working for a start-up and quit the agency because
"why not?". Gotta keep life interesting!
I'm also good at taking care of others.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
With strangers, my sweetness is most common, or its my silence. I'm
all or nothing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Travel essays.
Movies: Anything without too many plot holes that has a happy
ending. I also like the artistic license Baz takes in Moulin Rouge
and Gatsby. Not Romeo + Julie though, not a fan of that one.
Shows: Not really applicable.
Music: Odesza, Chvrches, Flume.
Food: Almost everything. The only exception I can think of is fishy
seafood and ingredients with an odd texture (ex: oysters). I love
Mexican and tex-mex and whatever is being served from Provisions'
kitchen. I love that place, I've never had a bad dish there.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family, my 3 friends that are girls, faith, my Class Pass
membership, good health, a valid passport with a few blank pages
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
1) The country I'm going to visit next and what I'm going to see
2) Where am I going to work out tomorrow morning? Do I want to do
spin, pilates, reformer, yoga, or maybe kickboxing?
3) Why are people so willing to trample and hurt others for their
own gain and how can I escape America's capitalistic environment.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Washing dishes, baking cookies for my co-workers, watching Travel
Channel, contemplating leaving my apartment.
It's funny, I'll travel all over Europe and Australia for months
alone but won't leave my apartment in the US without company.
Unless it's for Anvil. That bar is literally my refuge.

Your stable, have a big kind heart for the people around you, and
take care of your health.
Big plus if you have already traveled outside our continent and/or
do so often. I've only been to 15 countries and it might be nice to
see the remaining 181 with some company!
