Not sure quite what to say about myself here. I guess the best way to describe myself would be an extroverted introvert. At my core I'm a fairly quiet person, I like to observe what is going on, I like reading, hiking, etc, but at the same time I can be bubbly and talk for hours once you get me started.
I also really like traveling, I have lived in both Ireland and England within the last 4 years and visited most of the continents (Australia/New Zealand is definitely on the list soonish).
Finally, I'm a fairly active, outdoorsy kinda person, who likes hiking, camping, canoeing, etc and given the opportunity (and time) would rather walk for hours then take a taxi.

I'm currently in a rather fun filled transition stage in my life where I am trying to get into the world of teaching in Ontario, but it is rather slow going so I'm serving, volunteering and doing the odd supply day in the meantime.

Trivia ... I have a weird memory for events, tv shows, books, movies, etc.

My smile, my laugh, or my pony-tail ... strangely I have been told that they are all very distinctive.

TV - Haven, Homeland, Suburgatory, Misfits, Covert Affairs
Movies - Perks of Being a Wallflower, Skyfall, Looper, Argo
Books - Kelly Armstrong books, Forgotten Garden, Only Forward, Spares
Music - So varied that is really hard to say
Food - I have a pretty good appreciation of food and I really like baking things, not sure if that really counts as an answer.

I was a pretty big fan of Star Trek the Next Generation when I was younger, even had a big poster of the Enterprise.
