My Self-Summary
What I’m doing with my life
I’m really good at
The first things people usually notice about me
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books (what can I say, I like my sci-fi and fantasy):
- Dark Tower Series by Stephen King
- Dune Series by Frank Herbert
- Earthsea Chronicles by Ursula Le Guin
- Shadow Series by Orson Scott Card
- The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
Movies (and I tend to like animated works much more):
- Spirited Away is my favorite among Hayao Miyazaki's films, but I do like the majority of his work
- The Girl Who Leapt Through Time
- Almost all of Makoto Shinkai's works
Music:
This is the one that varies most depending on my mood, but it generally revolves between rock (alternative, pop, indie) and pop, in all manners of languages, foreign or otherwise.
Food:
Also mood dependent, but Chinese food is the usual fallback (Taiwanese food in particular). Japanese food also ranks pretty high up there, whether it's sushi or home-style. And I'm most likely to prefer a good home-cooked meal over anything prepped out of the home, but I usually won't say no to good food :D
The six things I could never do without
2. A computer
3. My digital SLR and other photographic equipment
4. Books! Novels, more specifically
5. A well-equipped kitchen. For now, this just means my extensive collection of cookware
6. Love, of anything - friends, family, laughing, photography, food, cute furry animals...
