I love being in grad school again. I'm taking some great courses...

2. Internship In Mental Health Counseling
3. Cultural Diversity in Counseling

+ "capstone" master's writing project
+ working at my internship
+ finding a quality relationship
= I'm a very busy woman!

But I am looking forward to the time when I can practice my work without needing to read 300 pages a week, write papers, and conduct interviews. ​

I had fun flying a kite today because it was so windy, thanks to Hurricane Earl.  The kite got stuck in a tree and I galliantly tugged on it until it broke free.  I think that was the most exhilirating part of that time of the day.  We were in a dog park, and all the owners, as I was passing them by, said "Good Dog" - so it was the Good Dog park.  No bad dogs there!  Not a one!

I saw a great Italian film at the Harvard Film Archive tonight.  It was thought provoking in the way that isn't overly dramatic.  The subject matter was about love, relationships, sex, divorce, "abnormal" sex (this was a film from the 60's) upper class, lower class, urban rich, rural poor, prostitution, and brothels.  Wow, I think I got all the topics in there.  Very fascinating - the director was interviewing people from all backgrounds about their opinions...a time when tradition was being trumped by the new way of thinking.
