My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Non-negotiable: compassionate, want kids (soon, ok, because I'm 42), communicative, culturally and socially aware, nonsmoker, self reflective, educated, ambitious, funny, and serious about a relationship. That's all I really want and need. Forget reading the rest, just write me :)

OK, so I was an education nerd at one point...I went to grad school to study the nerdliest of places... Anyone want to take a guess? I was against standardized testing, and for individualized education. Sounds liberal? Why yes! I focused on education for at-risk students, and feverishly wrote papers on resiliency of non-traditional education. Worked a number of years and lost touch with my focus.

And then I went back to school for yet another grad degree. Recently got my master's in counseling and started a new career as a therapist. I love my job... I get to help people achieve their goals. My clients are affiliated with Massachusetts DMH. I'm continually hopeful that recovery from mental illness is possible.

Ladies get a bad rap for drama. Not me!! I'm deeply happy, self-actualized, and give love each day. I highly value social intelligence - kindness/generosity, empathy, tenderness. I smile widely and laugh frequently - life is a satire when you're at peace with the world. My sense of humor is a cool mix of dry/clever/witty and physical farce (Danny Kaye, Harold Lloyd). I enjoy humor embedded in professional and private situations.

I'm not perfect, and I don't expect you to be either. Actually, we're all works in progress... I enjoy seeing others improve, grow, and change. You know how some people grow apart? That would never happen with me... We'd keep it interesting.

You must watch this, I was so moved by it:

NOTE: just because I don't mention traveling, adventure, or whatever it is you like doesn't mean I don't partake. Ask me!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
ACTIVITIES ++ I enjoy expanding my cultural and environmental horizons. For leisure, I love attending plays/theater/shows, exploring ethnic differences and similarities in food/art/culture, going to art galleries/museums, being outdoors at botanical gardens, state parks, -- and more!)

BODY ++ I love massages, so I get them fairly frequently in Cambridge. Totally worth it!! I'm also working on improving my shape (I've a ways to go, please be kind) through kickboxing, walking, cycling, exercise/yoga DVDs; eating healthier
