good grammar makes me swoon. so does spelling ability and an above-average vocabulary. (whoa, is it getting warm in here?)

i am a self-confessed bibliophile. my two favorite books are probably A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole and every high school feminist's standby, The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. i also really enjoy comics/graphic novels. Tank Girl basically got me through middle school. ditto with Ghost World and high school. other favorites include stuff by Daniel Clowes, Joe Matt, Julie Doucet, Gabrielle Bell, Julia Wertz, and Los Bros.

favorite movies? gahh! uh, i'm going to name five off the top of my head and get this over with: Ghost World, La Haine, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Welcome to the Dollhouse, and Female Trouble. speaking of John Waters...i love him. LOVE. and i almost accidentally lit him on fire once.

favorite music? double gahh! Sonic Youth, Bikini Kill, Pavement, Imperial Teen, Broadcast, Enon, Black Flag, Spank Rock, Serge Gainsbourg, Velvet Underground, Ladytron, blah, blah, blah...

good food = love. end of story.
