I am a native of the Northeast Louisiana Delta but have held residence in Mississippi since the late 1980s until I moved to Georgia in 2008. I am a graduate from the University of Mississippi: earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies in the field of Criminal Justice with an influence on law enforcement (target-specialized in homicide investigation, narcotics, special serial killer investigations & profiling, crime scene leadership, and counter terrorism) and a minor concentration in psychology thanks to my scientific curriculum previous to joining the Department of Applied Sciences. I also acquired a significant amount of training in business, accounting, communications, and the Japanese language. I am a very competitive person, and in my spare time, I enjoy playing several sports of both a team and individual nature. Since 2002, I'veI played the sport of Disc Golf at a professional level. My "peers" and I have designed and built several courses for the Mississippi State Parks. I was the Club Champion of Spring Creek Disc Golf Club in Holly Springs, MS and was the vice president and acting coach of the Ole Miss Disc Golf Club. I play in the Southern Nationals Disc Golf (SNDG) Pro Open Tour Circuit and Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) tournaments. I was the 2005 Mississippi representative at the Innova-sponsored, invitational United Stated Disc Golf Championship, which is basically the Masters of Disc Golf. I now play in North Georgia and give lessons to various people in the area. Aside from typical athletics, I have an extensive background in the training, development, and instruction of combat and self defense. I began my training of RBWI in 1997 and continued my training (but soon started teaching as well) through the multiple reformations and shifts of the constantly evolving organization: Pinnacle Combat, Warrior International, Robert Bussey & Associates- Personal Protection Consulting Firm, and Bussey Combatives. In summary, I've trained people that have trained people that do the MMA fights you folks may think is "cool," and as far as that stuff goes, I'd had my awesome time in the sun for that and been done with it before most of you and your friends had ever even heard of things like the UFC or MMA fighting, but truly, I do not like fighting of any kind in competition. I feel training such as mine is, and was done by me, for life and death situations, when every other option is dispensed or void. I train that way and teach that way and do not even enjoy watching MMA fights on TV.

I'd moved to GA to get a different scene than my previous area. It's been enjoyable at times. Pros and cons. I miss a lot about my hometown and surrounding areas - the people especially, but Atlanta has a totally different vibe that was enjoyable. I've been working in the management field of business to try to support myself well and have a good means to comfortably support a family one day. All at the same time, doing a little soul searching to be sure that it's the type of work and life that will make me happy.

Sports, games, etc...
I used to be very left-brained- was amazing at math and scientific thinking, but since about halfway through college, I also became very right-brained. I'm pretty artistic. I enjoy writing, music, acting, etc... It's odd though, it seems the more right-brained I've become, the more of a dark part of my personality has emerged, but I embrace it, because I've always enjoyed my dark, artistic side, because it's where my true brilliance comes from.

This has to be more of a woman's question, because it has that unwritten meaning of "what captivates people when they catch me in a gaze," and men just don't have that loveliness as a woman has. A man has to truly have a confidence to him that's shown in the way he carries himself, and sometimes I may have a surplus of that when maybe I shouldn't. Also, a powerful character that shows leadership and compassion with the ability to do what's right even if it's not what he'd want to.

But if one must list a physical trait or two, I'll just say my smile.

Tough to say. I always liked the books I read as a kid more than any I read now, to be honest. There's always too much on my mind to just emerge myself into a book the same way as I could as a kid; but of course, that leaves things like The Hobbit & Lord of the Rings series high on the list (because I'm a super nerd like that). I also loved books like Where the Red Fern Grows, the Outsiders, and such. Now when I read it's things like Dave Ramsey and stuff. Very useful; half the fun.

I am a movie lover. Asking me to pick a favorite just isn't fair... but just to name one... here we go...
Legend of Bagger Vance. There, I said it.

Food- I love any "southern" style food, even though it contributes toward early death. I also love Asian foods: especially Japanese sushi and hibachi.

Music? I enjoy lots of groups from almost all genres... but to just name one band, I'll have to go with the guys that have been with me since the day of my birth (Thanks to having a 15 year older sister): Duran Duran.

lots of things. I am very social and very outgoing, but I also balance that with times of being very introverted. Sometimes I just like to have some personal quiet time to do whatever and think about whatever comes to mind from whatever corners of my mind and personality.

Hanging out with friends, playing games with buddies, grabbing a meal or some drinks with whomever would like to hangout, or watching a movie. Of course who knows, really.

...wouldn't that defeat the purpose?
