My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
It's strange having to go on and on about oneself, but here are some terms and ideas that I think best describe me generally:

Eternally Optimistic. Hopefully Romantic. Affable, Amiable, Conversationalist, Inquisitive, Pensive, Spontaneous. And at times, I'm a bit of a know-it-all -- but I swear it's not on purpose.

I love to laugh, and dry and funny wit is my way . . . laughter is one of my mantras!

I have genuine care and compassion for the wonderful people that come into my life, especially the one's that pour me a glass of wine.

I'm often sought out for my advice and clarity in dealing with life's situations, but I only play a licensed therapist/Jungian-psychologist on TV. Oh wait, I don't watch TV . . . But people still come to me with their issues, and I love it. It's quite the ego-boost, and I'm trustworthy.

Further, see below "What I'm doing with my life . . "
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a professional photographer by vocation, and I'm on "cloud 9" every day I awake to this profession. It's probably my greatest passion in art. I've also expanded my vocation to include motion picture (video) now, so I spend a lot of time scripting and imagining plot-lines and visuals, and then shooting/editing short films and documentaries. What could be better than living in one's imagination for a living? :-)

I also have a woodworking studio, and I'm building furniture, instruments, and functional art.

I bake a lot, breads and sweets mostly. You'll eat sweetly well. ;-)

I'm into self-exploration, and self-actualization. Paradigm shifts rule.

I daydream plenty. I need my "staring out the window" time often.

I'm always planning my next great adventure, be it foreign travel to exotic locales or the trip to the post office this afternoon.

I'm into expanding my mind. I'm an information sponge. TED talks suck me in every time!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I have an unusual ability to get anyone to spill their deepest wants and desires in life in the first 5 minutes I know them. Maybe 10 minutes.
(I have 2 ears and 1 mouth for a reason, you know . . .)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
. . . from what I'm told . . .

My eyes. My witty charm.

My smile. My height.

I wink a lot. (the friendly/flirty kind - I'm totally unaware of how much I do this!)

I could really go on and on here, but here's a few stand-outs . . .

Books: Having a personal library is very important to me . . . Tao Te Ching, anything by Abraham/Hicks, Art & Fear, any Calvin & Hobbes, Picasso in Antibes, I Am That, Wherever You Go-There You Are, Lost Horizon, Catcher in the Rye, any Richard Avedon or Peter Lindbergh, etc. I'm also a magazine whore - photo, fashion, art's, architecture - anything with witty prose or pretty photos.

Movies: I can get into almost anything, but I'm currently into Indie/Foreign films. . . otherwise, a few fav's -- The Big Lebowski, Magnolia, any Woody Allen, the Bourne series, anything Wes Anderson, Coen Brothers, etc.

Food: I'm an avid baker, so yeast-breads and sweets flow from my oven regularly. Nothing beats a great ethnic restaurant, and I frequent Ethiopian/Japanese/Thai/Indian-Pakistani places . . . and because of my family heritage, I have a particular soft-spot for Italian/Mediterranean. Who doesn't get turned on by the aroma's of garlic and fresh herbs?

Music: I went to college to study Jazz Performance, so Jazz and Classical music rock the core of my being. But I also have an extensive collection of Electronica (house/dub/eclectic/trip-hop) and equally enjoy Fleet Foxes, Grizzly Bear, Seal, Andy Williams, Matthew Dear, Daedelus, Steve Reich, Bjork, Jeff Buckley, Local Natives, Deerhunter, Bibio, and soooo so much more. It's all about mood and timing. And the more it stirs the heart, the better. ;-)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
(in no particular order . . . )

1.) Close Family & Friends
2.) Camera/s, Film & Digital
3.) Emotional Intelligence
4.) Good Flour for Baking
5.) Wine and Tea
6.) Meditation
7.) Laughter
8.) Great Music
9.) Intimacy

(guess I went over - it's hard to narrow down to just 6)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Well, lots of things, really.

Self-betterment, for starters - it feels great to think and feel positively about the world inside of, and around me. After all, no one knows enough to be a pessimist.

Creative endeavors. I'm endlessly lost in thought about creating beautiful works of art, and how I'll go about the process.

Art and Culture. Romance. Travel. Wine and great conversation. Music. Outer-space and the Cosmos. Good food.

. . . I guess I have a lot on my mind.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
either hanging around my work/live studio creating, or out and about having a good time. I'm often as much a home-body as I am an out-on-the-town extrovert.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Oh boy, I can think of a few good ones here! Message me to find out. Better yet, let's get out and chat about it in person.
