My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an open and honest person looking for the same. I've never been good at playing games with people, so I would prefer them not play any with me. I'm sarcastic, and I have a very dry sense of humor. I'm very guarded at first, and I won't be an open book right away. We've all had bad relationships. I don't get into them easily. I've only had one serious boyfriend, and we were together for a little less than a year. I've seen the heartache my friends and family have gone through with love, and it's nothing I've ever wanted to experience, so if you can get me into one it's a big deal for me. That being said, I'm tired of being the single girl at parties, and the one who doesn't have a date to bring to a wedding or family event, so I need to do something to change my life. I don't want to try the bar scene because I'm not looking for a random hookup. I won't date someone I work with, because that just makes things awkward, and if I wanted to complain about work, who would I do that to?

I've tried online dating before, but never put that much effort into it. I've had this account for awhile, and here I am, at 1:06 in the morning, months after I created the account, and I'm finally filling out the summary page. Sometimes I just need a little time before I get started.

So many men on this site love hiking and being outdoors. I'm probably not the girl for you. I've never been camping and have no desire to go. Bugs and dirt are gross. My idea of roughing it is staying at motel instead of a hotel.

Something else I should mention is that through a myriad of circumstances I was left with no option but to move back in with my family. I'm working my way toward leaving but this is my current situation. I'm not able to host any overnight guests, strictly because I don't want them aware of that part of my life.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm not quite sure what I'm doing with my life right now. Currently working in a boring job that sort of pays the bills and almost allows me to live the lifestyle I want to live. I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
problem solving and working things through with other people. I tend to be the fixer out of my friends.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Favorite music is nothing most people have heard. I tend to go toward more independent artists rather than big labels. But Tony Lucca, Curtis Peoples, Ernie Halter and Todd Carey are some of my favorites.

Favorite shows would have to be Leverage, Royal Pains, Fairly Legal, The Office, and Community. I'm also a sucker for reality shows. They're my guilty pleasures.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Six things I could never do without...
1. My dogs. They're my loves. There really is nothing quite like coming home and having the dogs waiting at the door. Always happy to see me, they can always make me smile.
2. Live music. I love going to live music shows. I'm not such a big fan of large venue concerts anymore. I'd much rather go to a small club or bar.
3. My family. I've had some problems over the last few years. Nothing too serious, but I needed help through it, and they've been there for me the whole time.
4. My friends are an extension of my family. I would protect them from anything and help them through anything, and they would do the same for me.
5. I have a slight addiction to mocha iced coffee from Dunkin Donuts. You really don't want to see me without a dose of caffeine in the morning. Just sayin'
6. My iPhone. You'll seldom see me without having it, and I can be connected to everything I need all the time.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
the future and what I'm doing with my life and how I'm going to accomplish the goals I've set for myself.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
either out with my friends or family, or I'm spending a quiet evening at home. I'm up for anything!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
is I'm nervous that I won't be successful and accomplish the things I want in my life.

If you're an interesting person and you think we would get along, you should message me.

You should not message me if:
-you have no picture (not interested in why, I'll just assume you're married or unattractive)
-are well outside the age range I'm interested in. If you're close to my parents' ages than mine you have a problem
