I'm Jay.

Some random facts about me.
- My name is not short for anything. It's just Jay, and yes I'm serious.
- I have a cat named Muffin.
- I used to be able to play the violin. I haven't played in probably 7-8 years, so I doubt I could just pick it up and start playing again, but I would like to try. Once I get around to buying one.
- I'm a huge Habs fan. Huge. As in I watch every single game I'm physically able to, which is a large portion of them.
- I love to camp. I haven't gone in years though.
- I love to travel. The last place I visited was New York City and that was 3 years ago. I want to go back ASAP. I'd also love to travel all over Europe eventually.
- I can't swim. At all.
- I'm a huge UFC/MMA fan. I generally don't miss an event, however I rarely watch them live. I think I have a decently passable knowledge of the sport. However if you have a freak memory, or are as obsessed with UFC as I am with hockey then I'm sure you could easily make me look stupid.
- I'd like to study criminology, but I'm not sure that's going to happen. My second choice is system administration, and that seems to be a lot more likely. I'm decently tech savvy, and am pretty good with computers in general, so that seems like the smart choice for a career.

I love doing crossword puzzles, and am good at them some days.

My favourite book is Fight Club. I'm a cliched man, what can I say. It might be my favourite book because no matter how hard I try to read others, it's the only one I've read in years. I read like a chapter of Thus Spoke Zarthustra, and a chapter or two of The Genealogy Of Morals and Beyond Good and Evil. My attention span is apparently too short. I should work on that.
As a kid my favourite book was "The Giver".
There's a true crime book by an FBI profiler that I've read a few times that I really like called "The Anatomy of Motive".

As for movies I have a difficult time picking just a few. I'll try though.

As for food. I'd like to figure out how to eat healthy, but for now I like mostly stuff that's terrible for me. Pasta dishes and steak with potatoes are my favourite meals.
