i'm in a band, and outside of obsessing about plans for the future of that band, i pretty much just listen to radio 3, sleep, watch documentaries and hang out with friends.

i work for the city of edmonton, doing sessional programs for communities.
it's really fun, until you underestimate how messy tye-dying is with 17 girls between the ages of 6-12. then it's not so fun. other than that, i pretty much love this job and i would work all the time if i could do stuff like this.

i am a huge astronomy dork, i routinely get overly excited about space news, solar flares, betelgeuse!!!, meteor showers and other random things. i have a few blogs i check daily for the most up to date news, and i really can't wait till the LHC is in working order because that will be amazingly neat to read about.

my love/obession/fixation with music takes up about 90% of my time. whether that's junk with my band or just listening to new and interesting music in almost any genre... i'm pretty much always talking about it.

i wish i could say i'm an avid reader, but school pretty much dumps on my dreams of being able to read what i want to, reading kind of gets pushed aside until summer.

i also fucking love breakfast. breakfast for lunch? yep. breakfast for dinner? absolutely. french toast at 2 in the morning after coming home drunk from a show? i did it last night. breakfast is the best.

i'm a large fan of coupland, klosterman, kerouac and bukowski. i like food that is generally not good for me and eat salad for breakfast.

or drinking a bottle of girl wine by myself, and falling asleep to some sort of documentary related to space. more often then not, i fall asleep to the sweet, savory voice of alec baldwin narrating national geographic's "journey to the edge of the universe" i would fornicate with alec baldwin as long as he talked "liiiikee thiiisssssssssss" to me.

i like to read when i am on the toilet.
