I am a licensed esthetician, which means I work in a spa and give people facials, and body scrubs/wraps; I wax hair off of people, do ladies makeup, and give some massages. I have been a police/fire/911 dispatcher, a teacher and an office manager.... I have very diverse tastes. My broad range of interests include everything from Ballet (which I danced for 17 years) to rodeo, from cooking to clubbing. I love all different kinds of music, where else can you find a Duke Ellington CD next to a Punk 'o' Rama disk or a George Acosta with a Waylon Jennings? I am very creative (but not in a weird way) and I am constantly looking for new outlets.. If you know a good one, let me know... I am a good storyteller, and know all kinds of stupid trivia. I love to make people laugh. I have lived all over the country, and like to try new things. I love to meet people, and have a good time! I am very friendly and outgoing. But I can be shy...I am certainly not your average girlie girl. But I do have a soft side. (I am a closet romantic) I love to chat! And given the right opportunity will talk your ears off. I have an opinion about a lot of things. And don't mind telling it when it needs to be told. What I'm In Search Of... In a relationship? Hmmm hard to say...I am looking for a NICE attractive guy. (At least a guy I find attractive, stereotypes don't apply) I want a man who can get as wrapped up in me as I can in him and it NOT Scare him! What happened to the guy who surprises you with flowers? I want the kind of man who puts his hand in the small of my back and makes me feel SAFE, doesn't curse in front of little kids, and doesn't swerve to hit whatever small animal is crossing the road. The kind of man who wraps his arms around my waist, doesn't mind wearing khakis when he meets my dad and ignores my younger brother. (but still likes him all the same) I search for someone who likes my argumentative side and appreciates the intelligence that goes with that. Where are the guys that aren't just in it for a good time? The ones that know how to get freaky when necessary but also can respect a woman for the glorious creature she is. (no two are alike) When did that go out of style? I am not saying I am looking to get married, right now...that is still a long ways off. I just don't want to be a one night stand or a random booty call now and then.

One day I would like to be successful and making enough money to be truely financially independent. I am working at building my business now. Slow economic times means it is a struggle, but perserverance is a good thing right?

Making people laugh. I scrapbook, I love to write expressively. I make photo DVD's and set them to music. I try to work hard and learn quickly. I love photography!

My eyes. I get that alot. Sometimes my smile....

I love historical fiction. The Other Boleyn Girl]] by [Phillipa Gregory is one example of this. I love History is my passion. I should have been born in another era I think sometimes. Sushi and Italian foods are my favorite. I love to cook; desserts mainly. My favorite movie of all time is The Notebook which is highly unlike me since I am not the kind of girl who watches movies to cry. I also love the movie Chocolat and have a thing for Carla Bruni's music. I can't understand her french... but it is lulling and relaxing.

I am thinking my iPod... some type of beverage Cherry Lemon Sundrop preferably. My german shepherd, my cell phone.... chapstick and a good book.

How I should get out more and meet new people....
