My name is JD, and I am somewhat intelligent and a little odd (although I'm decent at acting normal, maybe that's a lie. I am also a pro a rambling).
I like to surf, rock climb and enjoy spending the day being active, but I dont mind spending an occasional day or two inside reading or watching movies. However, while I want to spend my days being active, I currently spend 90% of my time doing homework. But it's hopefully gonna be worth it when I finish my masters in Ocean Engineering.

I am really laid back, outgoing, friendly and a little nerdy. I love the outdoors and hope to be traveling more often now that I will be done with my undergraduate degree. I also love fixing and building things (obviously otherwise I dont know why I would be an engineer).

I am looking for someone awesome and cool. If you're not awesome, you need not apply. I tend to just like nice girls, but it doesn't hurt to be a little odd too.

I am working on my masters in Ocean Engineering. I hope to travel/hike/camp/explore the world a bit more frequently over the coming years and I will one day live in Australia (I just hope I can get used to being upside down all the time).

science and math. Im also ok at surfing, tennis and chess. I am also very good at fixing things that aren't broken.

However, I fell this suck needs a "I really suck at" section, so
I really suck at guitar, quantum physics, archery, and bowling. But they're still fun... except quantum physics. That's not that fun.

I'm human. Thank god too, otherwise I would have to constantly watch my back for hunters confusing me for a deer.

books: Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, Illusions: the tale of a reluctant messiah, The short happy life of francis macomber. Harry Potter. Lord of the Rings. Gulliver's Travels. Generally just like adventure/sci-fi novels or classics.

Movies: Finding nemo, pans labyrinth, Indiana Jones, Wristcutters: a love story, Scott Pilgrim, Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind, Australia, Sin City, Casablanca, how to train your dragon.... Pretty much too many movies to list.

music: Pink Floyd, the Doors, Miles Davis, red hot chili peppers. I like a lot of music, just not a fan of Dance/techno or Rap/hip-hop.

food: steak, lobster, shellfish, sushi, pretty much anything other than: mushroom, Nuts, and berries.

Watching a movie and chilling with friends

I loath the phrase "play hard". I may spaz out every time I hear it. I want to slap whoever says that phrase in the face with a herring. I do not know why I am so passionately opposed to this phrase, but unless you like getting slapped by a herring, I would advise avoiding its use.
