My self-summary
I jump in the ocean any chance I get. I always want to stay up late. I love to start my days early. I like eight hours of sleep. Wouldn't it be great if our country embraced the siesta?

Things that switch up routines, like all night parties and getting out of town remind me how amazing life is. So does laughter. I thrive on physical activity, creativity and collaborations. Close family and friends are essential.

Simultaneous with my extroversion, I'm quiet, observant, contemplative, intensely focused. Though I tend to listen more than talk, I'll engage in most any conversation with sharp attention and excellent questions. I hold space for highly active imagination to thrive -- an indispensable tool for creativity.
What I’m doing with my life
Designer. Inventor. Creator.
I have a part-time dream job designing chandeliers. And during the rest of the week I am building a business, working on passion projects that usually involve sustainable development and collaborating with other artists. Or, just wasting time. But, I would rather be wasting time with you.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Food: I find strength in dark chocolate, and frozen yogurt is my weakness. I relish opportunities for beautiful and interesting culinary experiences. However, I mostly eat to live, not the reverse.

Music... lately:
Abdullah Ibrahim, Angus & Julia Stone, Bat for Lashes, Björk, Blue Foundation, Bon Iver, Broken Social Scene, Ellie Goulding, Emily Wells, Florence And The Machine, Glitch Mob, Jack White, Joan Jett, Kings of Leon, Lana Del Rey, Leonard Cohen, Lupe Fiasco, Lykke Li, Mumford & Sons, Oh Land, Radiohead, The Pixies, Regina Spektor, The National, The Raconteurs, The xx, Tom Waits, Warpaint, Yeah Yeah Yeahs. I generally prefer to listen or dance than discuss it. I find personality cults tiring.

Movies... an old list:
Avalon, Across the Universe, The Royal Tenenbaums, La Femme Nikita, RIZE, 2046, Little Miss Sunshine, Run Lola Run, Delicatessen, Trois Couleurs (especially Rouge and Blanc), The Hangover, Win Win. I usually forget that movies exist because I get wrapped up in projects during my spare time. But, I like indie films and action flicks are fun. I get completely engrossed in a movie and feel like it's all real. So, hacker gore and psycho thrillers are a big NO!

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Lighting. What I want from life and how to refine who I am to get it. The New York/Brooklyn weekend and which slice of it I'll take. Design. Aesthetics. Composition. Creative projects.
On a typical Friday night I am
Typical rarely catches up with me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm excited that at least 30% of the women on this site want me to message them because I know the difference between "your" and "you're." And I don't believe that rounding up 1/4 of an inch constitutes lying about one's height.

Had the course of my life been just slightly different, I would probably be a daring circus performer. I'm not a circus freak, just artistically athletic. I was once doing flips on a trampoline and someone said that I looked like a Botticelli up there like that -- one of the best compliments ever.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 25–37
  • Near me
  • For new friends
You should message me if
A big laundry list goes here! But none of that matters because chemistry rules. However, what it seems to come down to is this:

* We have fun together.
* We turn each other on.
* We can build trust with each other.
* And when the rest of life comes in, we find that we work well together. *This is important on many levels, but I especially love pursuing our respective creative endeavors in each others company. (Work breaks become extra satisfying ;)
