My self-summary
I'm a Christian first and foremost. This doesn't mean I'm necessarily good at it, but I'm trying to live my life right. Christianity to me is a way of life, a relationship, not a choice.

I love going to concerts. I enjoy spending time with friends and volunteering at church.

I am conservative, empathetic, and out of answers

What I’m doing with my life
I'm determining what I want to do at this point. I know some of my goals, and I'm working toward them.

I'm currently working for a company that has me doing computer type repair work and installation. It involves driving all around Southern Illinois, I get to see God's beauty all around me on a daily basis!

Aside from work I'm active in church. I serve in youth ministry, I love hanging out with the kids. Looking forward to having some of my own at some point.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books:
The Bible, Mere Christianity (and others by C.S. Lewis), Three Kingdoms, Christianity and Liberalism... many more too!

I've got a whole pile of books that I've bought and haven't yet read, I'm working on reading them though... the question is can I restrain myself from adding more to the pile before I can finish the ones currently in it?

I don't really watch TV or movies all that often. I don't even have cable. I read more than most, but still not enough.

The six things I could never do without
The basic necessities of course.

1. My faith in Jesus, hope, and love.

2. Friends and Family

3. My cell.
4. A way to access the interweb...

Actually at times I wish I didn't have either of these. We have created a society where we expect to have access to anyone instantly. In some ways I'd rather not be readily accessible at times. But if I dare to go offline and turn off my phone will I miss an important call or message? Is it worth the risk? Will the world suddenly explode if Tom isn't accessible?

5. A library of unread books to digest and ponder over.

6. Time to relax.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That I am indeed a sinner. Aside from that, I don't know.
