I am outspoken and passionate. I always wave at small children. I have been known to give directions to tourists and then ask them to pay it forward by standing on the right hand side of the escalator in the Metro.

By profession I'm an instruction and reference librarian, but I spend as much time at trapeze school as I possibly can. It makes me happy, and that's what matters to me right now. Other things that make me happy include spoken word open mics, poetry slams, playing the harpsichord, playing in a handbell choir where we don't always play the same parts, and crochet.

*Thinking of five different ways to say the same thing. It's really helpful when I'm teaching or am at the reference desk and can help someone reframe their question.

*Being exuberantly articulate.

*Singing. Especially harmony, either written or improvised.

I just took a mini poll and the consensus was that I'm talkative - in a good way. There was also insistance that I mention my "vibrant, fabulous" dresses.
