After covering hurricanes, blizzards, crime and UConn's national title run, I landed my dream job with NBC Sports, where I'm currently a web producer for NBCOlympics.com and have been privileged to have worked on 4 Olympics. After having worked 327 hours in 21 straight days in February for the Sochi Olympics, I'm ready to relax for awhile!
I have a great passion for my career and am an extremely motivated person that sets lofty goals for myself. With the hustle and bustle of the last few years of working odd hours and traveling, I haven't had too much time to dedicate to a relationship, but feel as if I've finally reached the point where I'd really like to share my life with someone. Thus, the reason I'm giving this site a shot.
If I had to choose one word to describe myself, it'd be versatile. I have an unlimited amount of interests, ranging from playing and watching sports to working out to listening to music and DJ-ing to editing video to cooking to engaging in politics to partying til' 5am to organizing events to being there for my friends and family. I'm extremely outgoing and love to be social but also love my solitude as well. I'm one of the most independent people you'll meet and I feel that the healthiest relationships are those that allow each other to maintain a certain level of independence and space to grow.
One of my greatest assets is my ability to listen and my optimistic outlook on life. I'm the rare guy who will play with his heart on his sleeve (the 100% Italian in me) and tell it how it is. Over the last few years I've found my political voice, having served on the Barack Obama campaign in '08 and '12. As passionately as I'm rooted in the cause and vision to move this country forward, I have the ability to take a step back and see things from both sides. I love a good debate.
I LOVE sarcasm. I'm a believer that while life calls for serious moments, all of it cannot be lived as such. You have to be able to laugh at yourself.
