My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I grew up wanting to be a pirate. The port town I grew up in had a huge rock that allowed me to climb to the top of and look out over the marina, pining for the days when I'd have high sea adventures of my own. As an adult I've managed to stay true to that young explorer inside me, taking advantage of any new experience and off chance of adventure that came my way. I now have the scars and stories, but I still keep a keen eye to the horizon.

When I'm not spending my days globe trotting, I'm digging up new and exciting classes here in the city. I find that character is something that is hard earned, so every day I'm doing my best to be better than the day before.

My degree is in philosophy, but I still study in other fields full time.

So, I am pretty much all about education and experiences. Really the most important thing for me is just doing all the things in life that I would otherwise regret later had I not done them.

I like dogs a lot, and try to stop by the dog park nearly every day to say hello.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
As an investor I am always trying to expand my portfolio so that I can further invest in companies and technologies that I believe in. I feel like I can help change the world for the better by contributing in that way.
On a personal level I just keep learning. I sail, fly planes, skateboard, rock climb, paint, make music, etc. It isn't good to improve yourself only in one direction so I try to collect a great variety of skills. Passions change and besides you will never know you have a passion for something until you try.
The one constant I'd say in my life is my commitment to travel. I have so many crazy travel stories. My goal is to visit every nation on the planet, and since there are almost 200 of them I have a lot of work to do.

At the cafe, writing, jamming, or reading. I might go meet up with friends but most bars aren't my scene. Or at the gym.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am pretty comfortable talking about most things. I usually keep my work details to myself, but if you want to know anything embarrassing I'll tell you before my friends can.

For any reason, if you just want someone to talk to or if you need a travel buddy or a partner for something. I haven't signed up to a site like this before so I don't have any horror stories yet and not yet jaded.
