My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
i'm noah.

my friends have described me as passionate, intense, creative, loving, generous, motherly, darling, adorable, inspirational, and just downright weird. (nsfw)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
living. as fully as humanly possible.

i am also starting a writer's circle, for people who would like to exchange pieces of writing, workshop them, motivate and encourage each other. if you are interested in this, please send me a message with information about yourself, your writing style, and what you hope to gain from being part of a writing community.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
anything creative. spontaneity. making delicious food things. giving massages. cuddles. being brutally honest. writing love letters. living room dance parties. wearing the same sweater five days in a row. not washing my hair, ever.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
the color of my eyes (very blue), my height (very short), my laugh (contagious).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

my music taste is about as together as an exploding star. i am a sucker for anything that is just as good read out like a poem as it is in a song, like anything produced by the shins, iron & wine or andrew mcmahon (something corporate/jack's mannequin). i like early 2000s pop punk (taking back sunday, finch, thursday) and most dubstep (avicii, bassnectar, mat the alien, adventure club) and pretty much any folk music that comes my way. if i can dance to it, i probably love it, and i will dance to just about anything with a beat (i am an excellent dancer, for the record). i like to sing along to adele, bonnie raitt, and june carter cash, or any singers with raspy, soulful voices.

i read too much to even name a favourite in any genre because everything i like serves a different purpose. i'm super into book trades so let me know if there is something you think i should read! by this i mean just assume i have never read your favourite book(s) and tell me to read them. i will read pretty much anything.

that being said, i have found a particular fondness for authors/poets like barbara kingsolver, anne sexton, pablo neruda, don mckay, melanie siebert, sylvia plath, virginia woolf, douglas coupland, eden robinson, neil gaiman, evelyn lau, annette lapointe, francesca lia block, ivan coyote, shane koyczan, t.s. eliot, e.e. cummings, etc etc etc.

i pretty much only watch netflix when my brain is tired and to be honest, talking about television/movies is one of my least favourite things.

food is probably one of the central focuses of my life. the relationship between women, family, food and culture is something that fascinates me. i make up a lot of my own recipes based on what feels good on any given day. i'm partial to things like avocado, garden tomatoes, fresh caught salmon, spinach salads, fig balsamic vinegar, asparagus, risotto of many different kinds, mushrooms, kale, dried and fresh fruit of all kinds, bell peppers, zucchini, eggplant, ginger, any combination of ingredients prepared with love and care. and deep fried pickles, because deep. fried. pickles. actually i also just really love pickles, but i eat them by themselves out of the jar.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
tea, pens, paper, good conversation, snuggles, laughter.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
why i exist, why you exist, whether or not our corporeal vehicles matter, why we care about them so much if they do not, why society has developed around and continues to produce strange arbitrary rules about how to be a person/how to have social value, how to be a good person & what that looks like to me, why people have so many issues with gender neutral pronouns, butterflies and unicorns and sparkles and rainbows and glitterbeards, astrology/clairvoyance/palm reading/the metaphysical in general, the book(s) i am always attempting to write.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
i don't really have typical any nights of the week. working, in bed with a book, painting/drawing/writing, quality time with friends, any of the above on any given day. consistency isn't really my forte.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
i genuinely care what your astrological sign is.
