My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
First of all, I'm a complete nerd. Yes, I like anime. No I don't live in a basement; my parents' or otherwise. /joke

I'm a pessimistic idealist with a love of philosophy. From existentialism to Solopsism to Buddhism; I just like to keep an open mind and explore different views of the world.

Recently I was introduced to the world of Blues dance. I am still learning and finding my groove, but I love it! I've been out of the scene, but would love to get back out there, even if I'm a little clumsy.

I'm a writer by nature -- I've always loved to create stories. Whether that's an original piece of work or fanfiction. Though the latter I've had less experience with as I get older.

The number one thing about me you should know is that I value respect and honesty the most. And humor.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to get myself to write so I can publish a novel or twenty. Finding myself and purpose and that silly stuff. Trying to make more friends who want to play tabletop/board games with me.

Some day I want to have an "anime museum". I adore collections and anime is a passion of mine, so... shhhh. >///> It's embarrassing!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Seeing a situation from all angles. Writing. Obsessing over cats and stories.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have no idea -- I always forget to ask people when I meet them. Shoot.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I have a lot of things I'm into. I am AALLL about variety. My entire life has been built in living in the many worlds other people have created. There are too many things to list, but I will list a few. Please do not message me spoilers because even though I love some of these series, I have not finished them all.

As far as books go I used to just love looking at the covers and the pictures. I loved book fairs and ordering from that catalogue we got in elementary school. I wanted to love to read, but I didn't until I found Harry Potter. Then I found the Fearless series when I was 11, because one of the characters was named "Loki" and I had an online friend with that name. Because of that series I read Holden Caulfield's story...

Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Mortal Instruments, Fearless, The Infernal Devices, The Vampire Academy, The Saga of Darren Shan, The Demonata, Artemis Fowl, Percy Jackson, Dance Recover Repeat, Exquisite Corpse, Odd Thomas, Fledgling, Catcher in the Rye, The Georgina Kincaid series, The Outsiders, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Where The Sidewalk Ends, The True Story of the Three Little Pigs, and more.

I feel like including some manga is important. I first got sucked in by the Sailor Moon manga, Cardcaptor Sakura, and Miracle Girls. Back when Tokyopop's books were small. I discovered manga juuust around the time I found my love for HP.

Fruits Basket, Demon Diary, Mars, Dragon Knights, Gravitation, 07 Ghost, Absolute Boyfriend, Azumanga Daioh, Descendants of Darkness, Eerie Queerie, Hands Off!, Junjo Romantica, Only The Ring Finger Knows, Legal Drug, Loveless, Never Give Up!, Ouran High School Host Club, Pandora Hearts, Black Butler, Blue Exorcist, Pet Shop of Horrors, Peach Girl, Saiyuki, Wild Adapter, Bus Gamer, Wish, XxxHolic, and more.

One of my earliest memories is of me watching Pocahontas in a drive-in theater. For some reason I hated this movie for the longest time. I love it now. I've also realized that it would be near impossible for me to be in a romantic relationship with someone who won't watch Disney movies with me.

Lion King, Mulan, Up, Aristocats, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Tinkerbell, The Emperor's New Groove, Finding Nemo, Toy Story, Nightmare Before Christmas, Epic, Tangled, Enchanted, Spy Kids, Matilda, Shrek, How To Train Your Dragon, Madagascar 2 (yes only the second one), Girl Interrupted, Interview with the Vampire, Chronicle, The Road to El Dorado (MY FAVORITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME), Sweeney Tod, Pirates of the Caribbean, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Groundhog Day, The Princess Bride, Hook, 50 First Dates, Harry Potter, Jim Carrey's The Grinch, Miss Congeniality, The Purge, Jurassic Parl, The Butterfly Effect, Dawn of the Dead (th re-make), American Pie, X-Men, The Bridge to Terabithia, Fifth Element, Tank Girl, and more...

Anything I read or watch is just another expression of myself. Whether it's well reviewed or "good" or "bad", I just like to lose myself in stories. Also, so I have this on record, I REALLY HATE when someone tells me my opinion is wrong and it is a fact that ____ movie or whatever is bad. No. No. That's not how facts and opinions work.

Queer as Folk, Supernatural, Weeds, American Horror Story, Ugly Betty, Lost Girl, Sherlock, Elementary, Breaking Bad, United States of Tara, Lie to Me, Orange is the New Black, Being Human, 2 Broke Girls, All That, South Park, Drawn Together, Beyond Belief, Partners, My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, Avatar: The Last Air Bender, The Legend of Korra, Ed Edd and Eddy, The Powerpuiff Girls, Dexter's Laboratory, 2 Stupid Dogs, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Robot Chicken, The Inbetweeners, Skins, Coupling, So You Think You Can Dance, Classic Scooby Doo, Legend of the Seeker, Xena Warrior Princess, The IT Crowd, The Walking Dead, Daria, The Middle, Modern Family, New Girl, Suburgatory and more.

Because of Dragon Ball Z and Sailor Moon, I believe in forgiveness and the power of love and friendship., I like to think I'm grounded and realistic but I have an idealism that I would never want to let go thanks to anime (and my mom). If you're completely anti-dub or proactively do things to hurt the anime industry tread carefully around me, please.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Gundam Wing, Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z, Cardcaptors, Chobits, Tsubasa, Baka and Test, Free! Iwatobi Swim Club, Soul Eater, Peace Maker, Gokudo, Digimon, Outlaw Star, Pokemon, Tenchi Muyo, Nerima Daikon Brothers, Ghost Stories, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Gantz, Trigun, Yu Yu Hakusho, Spiral, Kyo Kara Mao, and more, I also really enjoy Yu-Gi-Oh and DBZ Abridged.

When I listen to music I like to be moving, whether that means I'm walking or if I'm in the car. I enjoy making playlist. I prefer to listen to the music and nothing more, unless it's some sort of dance number or I'm singing along with friends at the top of our lungs all crazy-like. When I listen to music I zone out and create stories.

Mika, Florence and the Machine, N'Sync, The Backstreet Boys, Marianas Trench, Mindless Self Indulgence, Spice Girls, Aqua, Adam Lambert, Lady Gaga, Noah and the Whale, Maroon 5, Fun., Gotye, Two Door Cinema Club, Miyavi, Mumford and Sons, Of Monsters and Men, Matt and Kim, 3OH!3, Shiny Toy Guns, Lonely Island, Weird Al Yankovich, The Ready Set, One-Eyed Doll, and a lot more. I like rock, pop, trance, and indie.

I'm not very picky with my food but I know what I like.
Spaghetti. :D Sushi, chocolate cake, coffe ice cream, mocha frappe, grass and dirt Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, most pasta, filet mignon, salmon, ALL FRUITS (except pineapple >___>), baby carrots, and more I can't think of at the moment.

I'd like to add a section of my favorite games because they're a great distraction for me when I'm feeling upset and they allow me to socialize easier sometimes so...

Spyro, Final Fantasy VIII and X/X-2, Pokemon Snap, Pokemon in general, Super Smash Bros., Magic the Gathering, Pokemon Stadium, Ayakashi Ghost Guild, Fantasica, Impossible Game, Phase 10, Monopoly, Mancala, Jetpack Joyride, Temple Run, Robot Unicon Attack, Fluffy Diver, Ascension, Dominion, Red Dragon Inn, Dead or Alive, Left 4 Dead, Zombie Dice, and more. I REEAALLLY like to watch people play horror-survival games like Silent Hill and Resident Evil and am too afraid to do myself. xD
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My kitties, dead and alive. Ares is my tuxedo prince and he is as close to true love as I've come so far. I saved my orange and white tabyy Magnus from the wilderness after he got tossed out of a truck. Cocoa was my kitty for 13 years and she was my little guardian angel. Tobias was mine for three weeks and he was goodness in kitty form. He passed away and it hurt me to the core. Haunter is my cat, but technically my mom's.

2. Friends and family. I have had ups and downs and without this support group I would have never been able to make it through each day.

3. All things creative -- books, movies, art, music, etc. This helps me keep my insanity.

4. A sense of humor. Laughter is very important.

5. --insert snarky "food, water, air etc" answer here--
6. There's a six but it got lost.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
"Reality". Gay guys. Gay girls? Mine and other peoples' stories. People, their motives, personalities, memories, and thoughts.

I think way too much.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Who has a "typical" Friday night????
If I'm not working I'm nerding out either by myself or with my friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like collections. :3c
I love making lists.
I am seeing a therapist for a personality/mood disorder.
I am gender fluid.
