My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I value people more than experiences or places. With the right people I enjoy being outdoors or inside, watching a movie or playing laser tag, tubing down the river or playing board games.

I am very dependable and I try not to take things too seriously even though sometimes I will stress out over something really dumb.

I enjoy witty humor, I have collected a set of funny pictures and quotes and whenever I'm feeling blue I will read them and be awesome instead.

I taught introduction to computer science in a high school while I was going through college, I have always valued education very highly and teaching the class was very rewarding. Currently I'm volunteering mentoring kids for the FIRST LEGO League robotics competition.

I am INFJ with a very strong preference on introversion and judgement.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a computer engineer and I work in a product that is used to test lots of different things including cell phones and tablets.

I also enjoy swimming quite a bit and go to the gym regularly. I like eating out regularly and that's the way I keep my weight down.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm really good helping people, I have been told I'm very empathic (from empathy, not emphasis).

Not really good in an Olympic sense, but I'm a fairly competent swimmer. I kind of wish I had practiced my whole life because I feel I could have done well in competition during my college years (instead went with basketball which I love, but I suck at).

I am also fairly good at a few video games. I enjoy playing quite a bit and I feel it can be a very fun social activity.

I am also a fairly good with computers. I enjoy getting the occasional "hey, my computer is broken, could you fix it?" call and the oohs and aahs after I fix the problem. It boosts my ego :P
The first things people usually notice about me

My eyes and my hands.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
My favorite books of all time are:
La Casa de Usted Y Otros Viajes -- Jorge Ibargüengoitia
Galactic North -- Alastair Reynolds

Currently I'm almost finished with Beautiful Ruins now. The book is amazing but a tad depressing. I usually read before going to sleep and I have spent a couple sleepless nights thinking about the pointlessness of life.

Movies: Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Star Wars, documentaries in general.

Music: A little bit of everything. Some of the artists who I currently like are Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Decemberists, Marea and Old 97's.

Food: Mostly everything, I love fruits (mango, pineapple, blackberries, blueberries, guava, mandarin oranges being some of my favorites), BBQ, lasagna, quesadillas. The only things I really don't like are onions (specially uncooked) and spicy (hot) food.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What small project I am going to work on next. I like having a few non-work-related projects that I can work on in my own time.

My latest project is a small Android app that determines the strength of each team and determines how good a game will be for any given day depending on the teams that are playing.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At the gym, at home playing video games or out with friends having dinner.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

When I was a kid I wanted to fly a plane when I grew up, but I thought that being a pilot wasn't grand enough so I really wanted to be a co-pilot. It had more letters so it had to be more important, right?
