I am not your average girl. I have a classic but modern outlook on the world.

I believe in real relationships, chivalry, and respect. I am not looking for “hookups”, so if that is what you are looking for, please look elsewhere.

I love having fun, and will try to find the fun in any situation. I am adventurous, loving, and sometimes too nice for my own good. I think that I am an anachronism (being born in the wrong time), because I'm sick that chivalry is dead, love letters are no longer sent, and romance only is existent on Valentines day, if that. I also think it's disgusting the way that being promiscuous and sleeping around is pretty much encouraged today. I'm not down with that. Even though I have these outlooks, don't think of me as old fashioned. I am usually ahead of the crowd.

I love music, and everything about it. I love eccentric styles of music, but my favorite style follows under the rock category, but my favorite singer is P!nk. The reason that I like her so much is because she is so real, bad ass, true to herself, she writes her own songs, and doesn't fall into any category. I love that, probably because it's a reflection of me. I can in someway, relate to nearly any of her songs. I love going to concerts, but hate when they get expensive. If P!nk ever comes out to Colorado, I will spend some big bucks to see her. :-) I am also a singer myself, and am trying to find my own style in it.

Along with my music cravings, I also love to dance. I am currently taking ballroom at my college, and I am in a dance group with a high school friend. Unfortunately, I had to back out of that for a while because I need to focus on school. I really want to get back into dancing again, because I somewhat stopped.

I really like being on stage, obviously, with my singing and dancing. I am also finally pursuing my acting again in college. I eventually would like to get a major in Performing Arts, or Musical Theater. I think working on Broadway would be amazing, but I don't like the snobby NYC people.

Enough about me though.

I am looking for a guy that will get to know me for who I am. I want the guy that I am with to be my best friend. I am essentially looking for love, not just a hookup. I don't have sex anymore, so sorry, you will not break me into it. I'm waiting till marriage. It is easier to find out if the love is real if sex isn't involved. I have been sexual before, and I felt awful about it. I think that I was masking sex as love, and in the end just hurt myself. I am a Christian, and for a long time, was very angry at myself for doing what I did. I knew that God had forgiven me, but it took me a long time to realize that I needed to forgive myself as well. I'm a second chance virgin now, and I will not sleep with anyone before marriage. I believe that marriage is a beautiful, sacred thing, and I don't want to damper that.

I'm looking for someone that is ready for a real relationship. I'm not here to screw around, I'm here to find love. I'm looking for a guy that will treat me with respect, knowing that I will do the same for him. I will not date anyone that does, or deals drugs. I also want to date someone relatively close to my age.

I work full time at a retail store, and I am going to college to pursue my Associate of Arts degree.

My eyes and that I die my hair... a lot. Also, that I am a real, genuine, trustworthy person.

My favorite books are Crank and Burned(which I haven't finished) by Ellen Hopkins. It's basically a collection of free verse poetry that tells a story. Very cool as far as I am concerned. I also have gotten into the Twilight series, but have to stop reading because of school.

I like a lot of movies, my favorites being Beauty and the Beast, Mystery Men, Pink Panther (the new one with Steve Martin) and more that I can't think of now. My favorite genre would probably have to be comedy.

As for music, I am a music freak, and I listen to everything... yes, everything. I'll be happy listening to Rock, Hip Hop, R&B, old classic cabaret jazz, metal, alternative, classic oldies, whatever, whatever, whatever. If I absolutely HAVE TO have a favorite, I like anything that you can slap a ROCK label on.

Unfortunately doing homework. But when I have free time, I like to go out to pool halls, play some rock band at my friend's house, perhaps just hang out at home watching movies, or going to a club. I can't wait till I'm 21 and can go back to the Church on Sunday nights!
