I am smart, shy, and a good friend.

My Self-Summary

I don't really know what to write here. I guess something about me is that I hate open-ended essay prompts haha. But anyways, if you want to know more about me, read what else is in my profile or send me a message and I will respond.

I love anything to do with computers. My biggest hobby is webdesign, my most ambitious project probably being trying to create a social network for my mom's fitness website, which still goes unfinished because my mom lost interest. I have also made a site for me and my friends where we can post what we overhear people saying, funny stuff you hear, or what a teacher says, stuff like that. Another thing I love to do is listen to music, although my taste in music is definitely not what most people would like.

“This planet has -- or rather had -- a problem, which was this: most of the people living on it were unhappy for pretty much of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movements of small green pieces of paper, which is odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy.” --Douglas Adams

What I’m doing with my life

Going to community college, transferring to a CSU then getting a degree in computer science. Right now my days consist of school, homework, eating, internet, doing stuff with family/friends and sleep mostly. But they say the whole college thing is supposed to pay off in the end... so we'll see!

I’m really good at

I'm really good at fixing people's computer problems. And if I can't fix the problem with prior knowledge, Google is always there for me. I am also good at staying on the computer/internet for far longer than is necessary, or recommended. Going hand in hand with this is that I am also good at staying up late. I am not good at spelling the word recommended lol, I have no idea why.

The first things people usually notice about me

My glasses which are really thick. (Thank you retinopathy of prematurity for horrible vision.) Maybe that I'm kinda short? I don't know, you tell me!

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

My favorite books include, I guess, Harry Potter, any sort of science fiction or fantasy type genre, Redwall books when I was younger ,my favorite one being The Legend of Luke, by Brian Jacques (I got to meet him 2 years ago :D), any sort of political books like some written by Al Franken, Lord of the Rings, 1984 by George Orwell, Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, Great Expectations by Dickens (I know most everyone hates this book but I enjoyed it), Feed by M. T. Anderson, Inheritance cycle by Christopher Paolini, The Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy and other things by Douglas Adams, Discworld series by Terry Pratchett, The Hobbit. Other things I read (besides books): The Huffington Post, Ars Technica, the news
Movies would include.... Moulin Rouge, Fiddler on the Roof, Julie & Julia, 28 Days Later, The Ring, Star Trek, Orphan, Transformers, The Proposal, Yes Man any sort of romantic comedy or scary movie or science fiction movie, The Dark Knight, Rent, The Phantom of the Opera, 28 Weeks Later, 1984, Brave New World,
As for music, I listen to alot of musicals like Rent, Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, Phantom of the Opera but also other stuff like Linkin Park, Third Eye Blind, some My Chemical Romance, also video game soundtracks, movie soundtracks, also anything composed by Koji Kondo, Nobou Uematsu, Yoko Shimomura, also The Killers, Coldplay
Also there's TV, which I rarely watch because I'm addicted to the internet... but if I watch TV I like: House, Late Show with Craig Ferguson, TrueBlood (until Godric died), Six Feet Under, Avatar: The Last Airbender, American Idol
And food. It depends on what I'm in the mood for but usually any kind of Chinese food or Japanese food is good. I like sushi but really only California rolls (seaweed, rice, imitation crab, etc.). Also food like hot dogs, hamburgers, stuff like that. Also I am a pretty plain eater. And if chocolate counts as food.. lol... I really love chocolate

The six things I could never do without

Probably music, the internet, computers, cell phone, books and friends.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

It really depends. Usually kinda deep things I suppose. I can't really think of anything in particular off the top of my head, but I usually think of certain things depending on what type of mood I am in or if someone says something to me that gets me thinking. Usually politics is something I'm thinking about, if only because it seems like at this present time there are alot more political events going on than ever before. Another thing I think about, or at least something that really bugs me, is how religious people can be so intolerant and act like it's completely OK to be that way.

On a typical Friday night I am

At home, on the computer. Or hanging out with close friends just being ourselves (aka strange). Things we like to do is explore stores like Big Lots, Bed, Bath and Beyond, bookstores (looking for books or finding the cheesy sex scenes in the romance novel section), or going to see a movie at the cheap theater

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I have no idea. I will think of this later I guess.

You should message me if

If you feel like it, or if anything I've said sounds interesting to you. Or if you just want to talk. Or be friends. Or for any reason at all. Unless you're a creepy old guy, then no messaging for you.
