I'm a graduate student in the Applied Physics program at the University of Michigan. I have a lot of hobbies outside of school, but I do pour a lot of time into it.

I'm getting a PhD! Eventually... It's going to be a while, honestly.

Other than that, I enjoy socializing and gaining new skills/hobbies.

Apparently I'm good at physics! I also enjoy virtually every other aspect of science. I've taught myself how to play a flute and a didgeridoo in the last few years, and I'm interested in Tuvan throat singing (??). So, music is one of my favorite pastimes. I've also started learning how to spin a fire staff. I have obscure hobbies...

I like coffee. I never get enough sleep, but seem to do so well on so little.

I want to move somewhere with mountains. I do like Michigan, but it is very flat. I developed a hiking hobby at some point, and hiking up into a mountain is so much more rewarding than hiking in a circle across flat ground.

I'm always looking for a party to go to, or I'm out at a bar. I like spending time at home, too. I read a lot, alternating between whatever fantasy series has caught my eye, and science books. I drink a beer here and there, but I rarely have more than a few in a given night.

I like interesting conversation, random questions, etc. I'm very social.
