Howdy. I moved to Anchorage in May so I'm hoping to make some friends and meet some awesome people. I've been enjoying the amazing Alaskan summer. I'll try anything twice, so lets go find some fun!

I'm a stable dude with a big kid job and insurance. I'm drug free, disease free, and dumbass free. If you can't run with all of those statements then I don't want to come to your birthday party. No offense, I'm sure you're a great person; just don't waste your time or my time. I seriously want to find solid people to jam with via this account. I'm not looking for one night stands or a candy girl so if you're a creeper, please creep elsewhere. Cheers.

I grew up on the East Coast and Michigan. During college and my professional life (you know, the fun stuff) I've had the pleasure of living in Michigan, Hawaii, Arizona, Minnesota, Kentucky, Wyoming, Hawaii again, Kansas, Chicago, and now the great state of Alaska. I get around.

Also, if I ever get bored enough I'm setting all of my answers to "irrelevant" because seriously, they are. hey okcupid, you know what's really romantic... math. thanks.

I'm a Chemical Engineer and I either prevent or carefully cause explosions for a living.
I've also used a lil bit of that engineering stuff on some international development projects in Kenya, Thailand, and Guatemala. I'm looking for some meaningful volunteer work I can do closer to home as well.

...having fun. I love travel and vacation and I'm getting pretty good at exploring fun places and finding great things to do. I particularly like Colorado, Napa, Arizona, and NOLA. I like international travel but I've only really spent much time in Spain and East Africa.
I'm also pretty handy in a crisis situation. I'd like to think I'm ready for anything :)
Also, I ski really fast. I love skiing and snowboarding and weekend trips to Colorado are kinda my thing lately.
Apparently I'm pretty good at fixing third world villages too.

That depends on what time zone I'm in. I kinda travel a lot. In general, I like to go out. I like nice restaurants and fun people. I like to drink with the right crowd. Also, go-karts.

I'm generally a warm and good person, but I'm incapable of being nice to people that are trying to sell me something. I'm instantly defensive as soon as I detect a clever pitch.
