My Self-Summary
I am 22 years old, and am currently between jobs because I had to
relocate. I have one year of college behind me, at Winthrop
University, but had to stop until I could afford to go back. When I
do it will probably be at U Mass Dartmouth or Bridgewater State.
Right now I spend most of my time reading, watching anime, writing,
or cooking. I both read and write primarily science fiction and
fantasy, and would eventually like to outsell JK Rowling. I listen
to pretty much every type of music out there, and I live on
facebook.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I am not in college, but I am hoping to go back this year
or next in order to finish my degree in Classics, so I can pursue
my dream of teaching ancient greek and roman civilizations classes.
I pick up languages easily, but haven't had the opportunity to
study any other than english and spanish for more than a semester.
I know a little french, but not enough to even get the syntax
right; mostly what I know of it is just vocabulary.
I’m really good at
I'm an excellent cook, particularly Italian and casseroles, as well
as desserts. I'm a fair hand at sketching and painting, though its
one of the hobbies that I rarely have time for. Most of my time
goes towards reading and writing, although I also create webpages
for fun.
The first things people usually notice about me
Ummm...that I'm really pale? LOL! I don't know...nobody has ever
brought it up.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I will read anything fantasy or mystery, and of course manga.
Favorite authors lean towards Mercedes Lackey, Piers Anthony, and
JK Rowling. I also love the Dark is Rising sequence by Susan
Cooper; its a childhood favorite.
In regards to movies, I tend towards chick flicks and action movies, not to mention the epic series like Pirates of the Caribbean and Lord of the Rings.
I will listen to any music except rap, and even some of that isn't too bad.
When it comes to food, I am definitely a meat and potatoes type of girl. I'm not one of those diet freaks who can't even look at food without thinking about the calories. My favorite foods are anything italian or chinese.

On a typical Friday night I am
Ummm...not much, unfortunately. Playing video games, I guess. I've
been playing my way through final fantasy 7, 10, and 12 lately, in
addition to Guitar Hero, Rock Band, DDR (which I suck at),
.hack//infection, and if I get broadband back soon, then I will be
back to playing WoW.

I'm a gamer girl and proud of it. I like anime and I'm not afraid
to admit that I'm a geek.
