My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Obligatory whining about how I hate to describe myself… okay now that is out of the way let’s move on to the meat of the topic. I am polyamorous. I am active in my local BDSM community. I hold a BA in Theater Arts but I’m not currently using it. I am very affectionate and love to snuggle. I don’t tolerate stupidity well. I have always been very mature for my age and still find myself usually drawn to those older than myself. I tend to be very cyclical in my disposition going from being really social and not being able to stand being at home to not wanting to leave my bat cave for anything. I am very eclectic in many ways from my faith to my hobbies and interest. I love to learn new things and will often become fixated on a topic for a few weeks doing crazy amounts of research for no other reason than to satisfy my own curiosity. I enjoy the beach (usually at night), theme parks (especially the roller coasters), fishing, camping, walking nature trails, museums, the occasional board or video game, going to the shooting range, and renaissance fairs. I have anxiety issues when it comes to ladders and the dentist, the former I often push myself to overcome the latter I try to avoid at all cost. I am a big believer in personal responsibility and think if it was a trait exercised more the world would be a much better place. I find myself not very driven most of the time and would say this is probably my biggest flaw. Okay I think I have run out of things to ramble on about so I will stop for now.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
My life is fairly dull in my opinion I mostly just work, but I do get some much needed quality time with friends that makes up for the tedious job. Really I'm just trying to get ahead in life, pay off my student loans and other miscellaneous debts and save up to be able to live more comfortably (i.e. get a car that runs better, get my own place stuff like that)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cuddles? Is that something someone can be good at? Aside from that I'm rather handy in general can handle most basic home and auto repairs and upkeep, or can figure it out thanks to YouTube and other reference materials. I’m also crafty I used to do costumes, make-up, and scenic building for theater (also the occasional lighting and sound). I have been doing various arts and crafts for as long as I can remember; my latest endeavor is working with leather mostly making masks but I would like to venture into other things more.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I get a lot of compliments on my smile… or my tits from the more lecherous folks. On the negative attention side of the coin, a lot of people notice my weight this comes out mostly as people thinking I'm pregnant which kills my self-esteem for a little while anyway.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: The Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher, the Hannibal series by Thomas Harris, the Anita Blake and Marry Gentry Series by Laurell K Hamilton, Anything by Douglas Adams, everything I have read by Robert Heinlein, and the Harry Potter series by J K Rowling
Movies: I love horror films whether it is gruesome torture porn like Hostel, something more psychological like The Shining or a classic like Night of the living Dead. I even enjoy the comically bad zombie movies usually. I enjoy sci-fi and fantasy, I can be kind of picky when it comes to what comedies I like and chick flicks are often a guilty pleasure of mine. Oh and I like the occasional action flick and documentary… I don’t this helped at all to narrow down what I like film wise lol sorry!
Shows: Doctor Who, Bones, Criminal Minds, Supernatural, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Once Upon a Time, Psych, Sherlock, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, House, Phineas and Ferb, Lost Girl, Burn Notice, NCIS, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, Better off Ted, A Bit of Fry and Laurie, Mrs. Brown’s Boys… The one thing about me is I will often watch a show out of order just catching it at random if I'm channel surfing until I find it on Netflix or download it, that being said I am almost never current on any show I watch no matter how closely I may follow it, TV is for when I'm bored and don't have a partner in crime for random shenanigans!
Music: my taste can be pretty eclectic at times but I lean toward rock and country most often. My all-time favorite song is Pirate Looks at 40 by Jimmy Buffett. I like southern gospel when I'm depressed even though I'm pagan because it makes me think of my grandmother and how she always helped me pull myself out of the worst of my shit, I miss her dearly.
Food: you don't get to be this fat without loving food or by being a picky eater lol. Okay all kidding aside my all-time favorite food probably has to be mac and cheese. I love seafood off all kinds. I haven't found something that comes out of the water that I don’t like, other than Mahi Mahi I have yet to find a way to have it prepared that I like.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
So other than the life sustaining basics I need sunglasses to be able to tolerate the evil day star.
Some form of human contact, cuddling in person is the best but I will settle for keeping in touch with others online or through texting. I really don't do well on my own cut off from the world for very long I'm a very social creature.
If I’m not around people I will need something to read anything from novels to online articles will do.
I need to be somewhat close to nature, I was most uncomfortable when I visited NYC, there was no nature there (and yes there is the huge chunk in the middle of Manhattan that is central park but even that doesn't feel natural, it is very controlled and man-made and just feels off, it is hard to explain)
Crazy socks, I could probably live without weird often brightly colored socks but why would I want to? Seriously though I have a love of silly socks that probably borders on unhealthy, whether it is brightly colored ones, toe socks, silly patterns I love them all.
And lastly either a hair tie or bandanna I need something to keep my damn hair out of my face, the shit drives me crazy.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What I should be doing and when I have to be doing it, or if I find some free time who I can hang out with and what we could do. Other than that my mind is all over the place so who knows at any given moment.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hopefully hanging out with someone, curled up watching a movie or TV show or going out to do something, maybe playing board games with a group of friends… I’m really not much for routine so there really isn't a typical for me.
