I am optimistic, logical, and amazing.
My Self-Summary
This whole profile began out of boredom, actually. The quizzes...
Really??? I love them. I'm a closet dork, I guess. But here I
sit.
And what about me, anyway? Well,
I'm a married, bi-sexual, work-a-holic, dry-witted, sassy-mouthed
mother-of-two with an obsession for all things fabulous. I love
shoes and purses. I love amazing foods. I'm fascinated by people
who have exotic hobbies (although my attention is not held by
anything long enough to pick up hobbies of my own). I'm
independent to a
fault, but my husband is incredibly patient about that.
On my best and worst days, beautiful music is what inspires me.
I adore all things that are powerfully and deeply meaningful.
AAAAND it's been brought to my attention that there's a good
possibility that many people may see my picture, click on me
(because I'm adorable!), skim over my profile and miss the parts
that suggest I am...
1.) married.
2.) interested in a potential girlfriend or girl friend with
possibilities situation, therefore not interested in meeting
guys.
3.) not interested in meeting guys who are horny.
4.) not interested in meeting guys who are pretending to be not
horny. (let's face it. we know better than THAT, don't we???)
5.) not interested in meeting guys who are guys.
6.) not interested in meeting guys who are, well, guys. or even
ones who are not much like guys.
7.) married.
I may have been vague about that. So this is the update. It's not
personal, guys. Promise. I have a guy. He's super. You can't
compete. Or if you CAN, you should go find a girl who's not looking
for a girl. *wink*
What I’m doing with my life
I work in retail. Which sounds awful. Or boring. Or corporate. Or
short-term. Or something. Honestly though,
I love my job. I make good
money. I don't work overtime. I get personal satisfaction from it.
And for a moment, I actually get to be a small part of
something special
in people's lives.
They recently dropped a fancy new black-white-and-khaki dress code
on us. My first
rebellious instinct was to
go out and buy black and white checkered plaid pants. *GRIN* If
they were in stock in my size that day, I probably would have
bought them. But I'm glad I didn't. Instead, my plan is to wear the
most
scandalous panties I can
find! lol...
I’m really good at
Anything that is
important to me. For example:
Making my bed everyday is not important to me, therefore I am not
good at it. :) Creating delicious food that makes people want to
come back and have a late dinner at my house is important to me,
therefore I am very good at cooking! Being on time? not good at
that. Being there when you need me? VERY good at that!
The first things people usually notice about me
People notice that I sparkle somehow. It sounds vain, maybe, but
really. You won't be able to put your finger on it, exactly, but if
we met, you would want to know me. From across the room, you would
want to know me.
I am fascinated by people's fascination with me!
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I love to read
true-crime books about serial
killers... but only the ones where the bad guy is locked up or
executed... if the madman is still out there, I am NOT reading that
book because it WILL give me nightmares!
Funny movies are not my bag, but
epic, powerful movies
are fabulous... as are
odd, obscure movies.
Have you seen Secretary? What a totally bizzare flick! Jeez. And
I'm always open to suggestions, so if you have a favorite, I would
LOVE to indulge myself... let me know!
Musically, my friend Sev says that I'm a
pop-culture-vulture.
LOL... I love whatever is current and I have a handful of classic
favorites, but I don't buy CDs because I will be bored of them in
short time. :)
If you can make a really amazing
Artichoke Spinach Dip, you
will be my hero and I will worship you!
The six things I could never do without
1. My daughters, of course, because watching them turn into
real people
is the best adventure of all.
2.
Music. There are
songs out there that will amplify or subdue any emotion.
3. My best friend. I can't imagine I survived so many years without
her... let's face it, it was a meager existience.
(Nevermind. She has recently taught me that I CAN, in fact, live
without her. :( Now accepting applications.)
4. Mascara. It's generally the only thing I put on my face. It
makes me feel pretty and flirty. ;)
Which usually leads to sex, which I can also not live
without... so we'll say mascara is good stuff! lol...
5. Vanilla ice cream.
The thing about Vanilla ice cream is that it can be pretty much
anything you want it to be. Hot fudge sundae. Strawberry
swirls. Banana split. Apple pie, a la mode. Whatever. But by
itself, it is one of life's most perfect simple pleasures.
6. Alcohol!
*grin* I love to drink. Socially, of course. Get a little crazy
on a night out. At a bar, pounding shots and shouting "YEAH!!!" or
a lunchtime cocktail with friends or a nice drink during a dinner
out with my honey or slamming beers with my brother once or twice a
year.... I never drink to escape life or to perpetuate depressions.
It's a happy indulgence!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Hahaha... I spend a lot of time thinking. Everything in my world is
ridiculously over-analyzed.
You will be over-analyzed, too.
On a typical Friday night I am
See number 6 of the above "six things i could never do
without."
*grin*
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Do we need to talk about things that are more private than my
panties under my work clothes? Really???
You should message me if
...You love to
laugh at life with the same person
you share the most powerful moments with.
...You
thrive on
flirtatious sexual tensions!
...You are
comfortable with the possiblities.
