I am artistic, silly, and almost tall.

My Self-Summary

My name is Kristofer but everyone usually just calls me Kris. When introduced to someone verbally it can easily be mistaken for Christopher or Chris. For that reason, Whenever my one friend introduces me to someone he makes sure to tell them that my name is spelled the "non Christian way."

I won two inline hockey national championships ten years ago. I wear my gold medals everyday, I find that they go great with an old pair of jeans and an untucked dress shirt. If ever in an argument I always pull the medals out from under my shirt and say "my two gold medals also disagree with you." This comes in handy a lot at work.

I have a bit of a sweet tooth or it would be more accurate to say I have a mouth full of sweet teeth. Often times when I go shopping my basket will contain only ice cream, candy, and soda. This can be embarrassing when I go to pay, especially if I'm also buying toothpaste.

An alarming percentage of my friends tell me they want to see me get into a fight, or to simply clothes line someone. They just can't imagine me ever being that angry, and to be honest neither can I really. I've always just been a very laid back person. I'm also a little silly, weird, artistic, tone deaf, athletic, funny, sarcastic, tastes of chocolate, and maybe nice to a fault.

What I’m doing with my life

In terms of my career, my official job title is "Graphic Specialist Level 3." This means that I am awesome at doing graphics. This includes, but is not limited to, photoshopping coworkers heads onto other photos for comedic purposes. The subject matter I deal with at work can be a bit dull, it is for the government. So in my spare time I have started working on an animated short.

I’m really good at

Playing inline hockey, drawing cartoons, pesting animals, solving Rubik's cube while looking at the solution algorithms, eating candy & sweets, saying I'm going to stop drinking soda, mangling songs on the guitar, pretend Tuvan throat singing, attempts at playing the jaw harp, being awesome, and probably a bunch of other stuff too.

The first things people usually notice about me

My sweet dance moves. I once had a large group of children convinced I was a robot.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books - Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Slaughterhouse-Five, The Areas Of My Expertise, Valis, The Cyberiad, Hell's Angels, Fight Club, Survivor, Invisible Monsters, Choke, Spanish Vocabulary, etc...

Music - Secret Chiefs 3, Tom Waits, Estradasphere, Fantomas, Mr. Bungle, Ween, Belle and Sebastian, The Melvins, Spektr, Diminished Men, The Ventures, etc...

Food - I really like spicy food so I enjoy Mexican and Thai cuisine the most.

The six things I could never do without

1. my family
2. my friends
3. animation
4. guitar
5. ice cream
6. secret chiefs 3

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How things were first thought of. Like who had the bright idea to make ice cream? I would like to shake their hand.

On a typical Friday night I am

Hanging out with friends or working on some type of art project.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

In August, because I was curious to how it would look, I decided to shave my chest. A few seconds after finishing I decided it was not a good look for me and flexed my chest intensely to get the hair to grow back. Apparently that's not how hair grows, it ended up taking a few weeks. I am happy to report I now have a nice layer of chest hair again. So ladies, if you are seeking a hairless chest, seek elsewhere.....

You should message me if

you would like to compare imaginary tattoos......I have a full sleeve featuring an army of robots fighting the grim reaper riding a tiger......oh and there is lightning as well.
