Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am outside as much as possible. Being out in nature centers me and recharges me. My go to outdoor activities are fishing, running, biking or hiking. I have just started getting into paddle boarding as well.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working in fundraising at an environmental non-profit. Exploring what DC has to offer. There are a surprising number of trails and fishing spots within the city limits. Trying to leave everywhere I go a bit better than I found it Trying to figure out the best way to have adventures now while saving to have adventures later.

Books: Recently I've been on a David McCullough kick.

Movies: A River Runs Through It, Hunt for Red October, Star Trek, Dazed and Confused, Dr. Strangelove, almost any Bond movie.

TV: Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley, Archer, and Bob's Burgers. I have started to rewatch Malcolm in the Middle and I had forgotten how great it is.

Music: Fairly open. Bluegrass and Folk are my favorite.

I eat pretty much anything and I am always willing to try something new.

Something to read

A good beer

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
This quote by Edward Abbey:
“One final paragraph of advice: do not burn yourselves out. Be as I am - a reluctant enthusiast....a part-time crusader, a half-hearted fanatic. Save the other half of yourselves and your lives for pleasure and adventure. It is not enough to fight for the land; it is even more important to enjoy it. While you can. While it’s still here. So get out there and hunt and fish and mess around with your friends, ramble out yonder and explore the forests, climb the mountains, bag the peaks, run the rivers, breathe deep of that yet sweet and lucid air, sit quietly for a while and contemplate the precious stillness, the lovely, mysterious, and awesome space. Enjoy yourselves, keep your brain in your head and your head firmly attached to the body, the body active and alive, and I promise you this much; I promise you this one sweet victory over our enemies, over those desk-bound men and women with their hearts in a safe deposit box, and their eyes hypnotized by desk calculators. I promise you this; You will outlive the bastards.”
