Chart of life travels: suburbs of Baltimore to northwest Indiana to Lawrence, Kansas to southwest Florida to Chicago to New York to Austin to Portland to San Francisco -- with some movement back and forth sometimes. Within that: ~5 years in NY, ~2 years Austin, ~1.5 yrs SF, ~6 months Portland.

I have recently developed the hobby of constructing mashup sound-art, if you are interested in hearing.

I spend a lot of time thinking about military violence and its motivations.

I identify as more feminine than masculine.

I'm spending vastly more time reading news, etc on the internet than reading books at this point in my life -- there's a lot of news to read. But otherwise I had also been reading a lot of books on Balkan/Ottoman history, digging into a lot of really old source documents, etc. Recently discovering that JSTOR access is awesome, taking in a lot of literature on geopolitics, international relations, international law, especially as these subjects concern US militarism. My favorite book was Pedro Paramo by Juan Rulfo.

Various movies, music, but sort of cynical about the popular culture industry driving consumerism, misogyny, militarism, racism, the prison-industrial complex, etc...

Recently listening most often to: The Cars, Violent Femmes, Bowie, Pink Floyd, ELO, Buddy Holly, Taylor Swift, Run The Jewels, Joanna Gruesome, oOoOOO, Grimes, etc. I feel like I like most genres especially recently glam, punk, pop, noise, some electronic, some metal, really most rap in general especially violent political rap and gangsta rap.

I like deconstructing television news through a Chomskyan prism of analysis. I spent many years not watching television at all (around 6 years without owning a television), right now I actually think I actually need to watch television more often just to be more sociologically informed.

I function as pretty nearly a vegan. I sometimes eat fish now but practically never dairy or eggs (unless I know the person who has the chicken coop in a backyard or whatever). I like Thai, Indian, Mediterranean, Japanese. Fruit in general, especially plums, pluots, peaches, kiwis.

you're seriously interested in organizing a revolution (i.e. overthrowing the capitalist state). Totally serious about that.

Maybe drink coffee, or beer, or smoke (a joint?) or whatever people do in these situations.
