Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Ahhh... the always dreaded all about me section. Does anyone really
enjoy writing these things? I know I enjoy reading them much more!
It's always really interesting to me to read what people have to
say about themselves. But about me...
I was born a poor black child...
No, wait, that's not right. I was actually born here in Sac and
have spent most of my life here. A couple short stints elsewhere,
but they've always lead back here. And I'm ok with that, I enjoy
our fair little city. And there are always airplanes and trains and
cars to take off in should I ever need to see somewhere new. I work
four day weeks, three day weekends are just long enough for a quick
getaway if needed!
That being said, I'm usually pretty content sticking around close
to home. Not every day needs to be a grand adventure. As much as I
love to get out I actually tend to be a bit of a homebody. I like
spending time relaxing just as much as going and doing.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Now that I finally got a new passport, getting back into traveling!
Trying to locally find the foods I see Anthony Bourdain eating
thousands of miles away. Looking for new places to take pictures.
Spending the occasional lazy day on the couch.
Oh, and work. I have to do that too. =/
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Losing the tv remote control. How is it so easy to lose something
that should always be within arm's reach of the couch??
I also tend to navigate really well through unfamiliar places. I
definitely did not inherit my mother's (lack of a) sense of
direction. If you ever need a good copilot, I'm your man!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I would imagine they'd notice my tattoos first. But my eyes tend to
get a bit of attention, so maybe that, too.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

The abridged versions of these lists:
Current rotation on Spotify - The National, Perfume Genius, Neutral
Milk Hotel, Elliott Smith, Parenthetical Girls, Of Monsters and
Movies... John Dies At the End, big favorite right now. Depending
on my mood anything from 28 Days Later to Idiocracy to Legends of
the Fall. I enjoy watching movies.
TV... Recently, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, The IT Crowd, Penny
Dreadful, The Daily Show, @midnight.
Books... I think it's probably easier just to list authors here...
Palahniuk, Vonnegut, King, Gaiman.
Food... Mostly Asian cuisines top my list. I go back and forth
between Indian and Thai for the top spot. Right now Indian is
winning. But really, put it in front of me and I'll probably eat
it. I love food.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order...
1. Time with friends and family
6. Time to myself
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Right now, where I'm going to travel to next. I'm working on
planning a roadtrip through the northwestern states right now,
super excited about it!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I work early Saturdays and Sundays so the weekend evenings are
usually spent hanging out at home relaxing. *My* Friday night
however, anything goes!!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Hmmm. I'll get back to you on this one.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to find someone to adventure with. Anything from a night
in with takeout and a movie to hopping on a plane and traveling
halfway around the world. And everything in between.
And while I hate to do the "do not contact me if" list, please no
homophobes, racists, overly religious types...
