My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm pretty cool. I'd hang out with me.

I know this is a dating site, and as such most people are looking for sex and romance, so I think I should just say upfront that I'm looking for people to hang out with, not for people to fuck. I know, weird. So, while I fully endorse everyone pursuing and having sex as much as they want, I'm not your best bet. But, if you want to hang out and chill and stuff, I'm totally down for that sort thing with strangers from the internet.

I haven't put much effort into writing this profile, mostly because I can't convince myself that it matters enough to justify the effort. And most things I would put here could be more easily communicated through conversation. Which is more fun anyway.

But, I do add more information from time to time as I feel like it, so eventually I may have a fully fleshed out profile full of relevant information. Which I suspect might improve the quality of the messages people send me. I get a lot of "you're cute" style messages, which is sweet and appreciated, but doesn't give me much to respond to, and isn't really a good conversation starter. This may be in part because I haven't put much information on my profile for people start a conversation with, so I'm working on that.

I guess a somewhat integral part of my identity is homeschooling. My parents were big fans of John Holt who coined the term "unschooling". If you've ever watched the TED talk by Sir. Ken Robinson "Do schools kill creativity?" you'll have a decent idea of the sort of educational philosophy that Holt promoted. It's based in child lead learning. So, that's what I did. The first school I went to was community college, which I attended instead of highschool, because it allowed me to continue directing my own education, and because highschool sounded lame. Ask me about it if you're interested in knowing more.

I have an etsy (http://www.etsy.com/shop/PiProductions). Most recent good pictures of me were taken for that. If you want one of the things that I make I can make you one, or sell you one that's already made. I haven't made any new things in a while because I don't really have time to make things just for the sake of making them. But I do have time to make things for money.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Adventuring and kicking it with people I like mostly.
Also, spending a lot of time with Uriah-Sayres, who is my favorite person, and pretty awesome as well.

Incidentally, Uriah and I are looking for cool people to come live with us, so if you're a cool person and are looking for other cool people live with, you should consider messaging one of us about that. Because it would be cool

I'm also trying to figure out what I want to do with myself career-wise. I've been working at Whole Foods for almost two years now and I'm ready to do something different. I figure that with my math degree, I should be able to make much more money in exchange for my time, which would give me more resources to do things I really enjoy. So, I'm learning Python and thinking about that. If you want to give me job, or know anyone who might, that would be cool.

The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Honestly, probably the first thing people notice is that I'm a girl. Except when they think I'm a boy.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Good food, books, music, fun people, being outside, sleep. I suppose I could do without some of these things for a while, but I would be really unhappy.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Life and death. And whimsy. And food.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm willing to admit most things that are true, and I'm not really sure what qualifies as "most private". So, I guess you should talk to me for real if you really care.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You feel like it.

I don't use this site much, so it might take me a while to respond to anything you send me, but that shouldn't stop you. I initially made an account when I was 16 or so and living on the internet in order to take the quizzes. More recently, I've updated my profile and started checking it sporadically because several of my friends were using okc to meet cool people, and it seems to work pretty well for that.
