My self-summary
Hey. I don't know what to put here. I grew up in Texas, and my family now lives in Arizona. I'm laid back. I don't follow pop culture very well. I don't really listen to pop music or watch a lot of tv. My humor is refined, I appreciate sarcasm and seriousness, and I don't really tolerate immaturity very well.
What I’m doing with my life
Well, I'm going to school right now, and try to work a little here and there when I can find a decent job that works with my schedule. I'm not 100% certain what I'm going to study, but long story short, I want to pursue a career in aviation as a pilot, so flying is in my foreseeable future.
I’m really good at
I'm pretty mediocre at a ton of stuff, and really good at a few things. I enjoy cooking and baking and I'm pretty good at that. I love music, and I can play a variety of instruments. I love my road bike, because cycling is pretty much the only sport I'm good at. And skiing. I love flying and when I get more money, I'll start persuing my pilots license again. I started getting into music recording recently. Nothing fancy, just doing covers or an original (if I'm feeling particularly creative).
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair, probably. I have a lot of it and I love it a lot. I do my best to take care of it and stuff. Also, my eyes. Everyone seems to notice and comment that I have nice blue eyes...except they're not. They're green; you just have to get really close to see them.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I won't even try to start listing off books here. There are way too many. I enjoy reading and learning, so let's just go with that for now.

I don't watch much TV, but I follow some series. I enjoy The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Family Guy, and lots of cartoons like Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends (probably the best show ever). I also enjoy educational stuff, like the History Channel and Discovery Channel.

My taste in movies is pretty broad. Star Wars over Star Trek any day. Action movies are great, like the Bourne trilogy or James Bond films (especially the older ones). Comedies are great, and some horror movies are okay (not the ones that are gory just for the sake of gore, but the suspenseful ones, or the comedy types like Shaun of the Dead). The occasional stupid movie is great, like Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. And in all seriousness, I think Monsters Inc is probably my favorite movie ever.

Music is a big part of my life and I'm very particular in my tastes. Again, I can't even begin to list things off here. Just come take a look at my iTunes library for a good feel. I don't listen to pop, rap, hip hop, or country. The stuff I really like is classic rock, oldies, Jazz, Motown/R&B/Soul, Funk/Funk-rock (like Ray Charles or Marvin Gaye or The Spinners; Tower of Power, Sly and the Family Stone, Chicago, etc), 80s music (either pop or hair metal or whatever), 90s alternative (like Smash Mouth or Oasis or Spacehog, or pretty much anything from the 90s), very select artists and songs from the last decade, and some electronic stuff like Moby. I could go on and on.

Food. I like all kinds of food. Italian, Mexican, various African foods, Asian. I enjoy both cooking and consuming.
The six things I could never do without

Extras (I'm pretty I decisive):
My hair
My iPhone
Emphasis on the hugs...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
There are 10000000 things running through my mind at any moment. If I'm quiet, then I'm definitely thinking about something. A flow chart of my mind might go something like this: I don't need all these blankets/my toes are cold/oh a really awesome song just came on pandora, I'd better thumb it up/I'm hungry/what should have for dinner tonight/do I need to add anything to my shopping list/can I hit snooze again/yeah I can/the life flight helicopter is buzzing right past my window/what time is it/that contrail way up in the sky must be from the WestJet flight to Edmonton/I need to finish that essay/wait, I can't sleep in until that second snooze after all/I hate this song/I need a job/I wonder what so and so is up to/I hate school right now/is it snowing/geez, it's the middle of April/yeah I need to add mustard to the shopping list.

And all that is probably like a 60 second process.
On a typical Friday night I am
Well, this is kinda embarrassing, but I prefer a night in rather than out. I'll catch up on a series on Netflix, write a paper, practice my guitars, record some songs. Or maybe go to the dollar theater or play laser tag or something. I don't like a lot of extravagance, or to spend a lot of money. You may even find me baking a cheesecake or something.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
If it's private, isn't that for a reason...? I don't open up to people unless I know I can trust them. My life has taught me not to trust people easily, unfortunately. If I know you well and feel absolutely safe and sure that I can trust you, then I might open up.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 18–26
  • Near me
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
If you're super cool, laid back, awesome, and have some (or a lot) of the same interests as i do, right on. But anyone can, really. I don't judge or discriminate. I'm always looking for good, quality friends. Those seem harder and harder to find these days.
