I laugh loud and sometimes snort, but I'm told it's an honor to make me do so... I am thankful for this life, and how He has led me to where I am... I feel incredibly blessed to work with kids with disabilities... I am passionate about beauty both seen and unseen

I supervise an home-based program that helps kids with disabilities and their families strengthen communication and socialization while offering behavioral supports. I love my kids. One day I'd like to open a center of my own based on recreation/ social play.

I love anything John Irving wrote, as well as the more old school - Salinger, Hemingway, John Hersey - and I love a great Shakespeare performance (my undergrad is in English Lit).

I love a good indie movie, as well as a well-done documentary - the top hits are usually more hit or miss with me. I have a fascination with Hitchcock, and I'm drawn to new plot lines. My favorite movie as a kid remains E.T. and Spielberg is still a favorite.

I watch a mix of things, though few reality shows. I like mystery-type shows, like Bones, the CSI's, NCIS, and stuff. I also love the New Girl, the Big Bang Theory and HIMYM... And the Golden Girls :) TV is often my zone out time.

Music - I'm ecclectic, but I lean towards the indie. Right now I'm loving Mumford & Sons, the Lumineers, Josh Ritter, anything Conor Oberst had his hand in and my always favorite Ryan Adams. I also like Michael Gungor and Phil Wickham
