Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I enjoy many things in life much as anyone else - travel, dining
out, a good glass of wine or beer, golf, sports - being active in
general, history, trying new things, people watching, running,
comedy, a good movie or book - I'm pretty much up for anything from
doing something new, going out to a bar, concert or any event to
chillin' and making dinner, playing board games or just hanging out
Most of my "girl-friends/friends" wonder or ask why I am not with
someone or married and I spent the last few years taking care of my
folks and helping them out and prior to that I travelled a lot for
work. I worked in roles where I spent 6-8 months at a time in
different cities opening new offices so I did not have much of a
chance to connect with anyone long-term. I'm at a good place
personally and it would be great to meet someone who I connect
with, act like myself and vice-versa and enjoy all the many things
each other and life has to offer.
I am a blend of an old soul and very young at heart. I would say
that I am fairly laid back and I can be a bit of a goofball. I am
someone who is equally comfortable hitting a dive bar or getting
dressed up and going to a formal event - I clean up pretty well
I try to keep things pretty simple especially when it comes to
dating/relationships. I would say that any baggage I have is
carry-on size and I appreciate all types of personalities. I think
that a great personality along with a cute smile and good sense of
humor, especially sarcasm pretty much grabs my attention from the
fairer sex. My dating philosophy is that I don't try to play games
and think that if you like someone show it and see where it goes -
I say what I mean and mean what I say and I think I am pretty fun,
funny, and down to Earth
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
After spending the last few years doing contract and consulting
work with a little travel mixed in I have recently rejoined the
"full-time" workforce. I am in the dot.com industry and love the
challenges and newness of it all! I'm also working on the side
building a website of my own and hope that it grows over time and I
can focus and make that a sustainable business down the road.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people laugh, most sports, making any Carribean themed
cocktail, reciting movie lines (what guy isn't), meeting people -
I'm the kind of person that strangers ask for directions - all the
time no matter where I'm at - I guess it's my friendly demeanor?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
A Sorrow in our Heart, Confederacy of Dunces, Movies would be
Shawshank, Anchorman, Fish Called Wanda, Overboard, Godfather II,
The original Indiana Jones - love the hat, Last stop for Paul! I
love food, probably more of a meat and potatoes kind of guy, Thai,
a good burger, Plutos salads, pork chops and applesauce, chocolate
cake, apple pie, a tasty steak, anything barbecued. Music I listen
to most anything save twangy country or gangsta rap.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Food, an outlet for exercising, friends and family, the ability to
explore/travel, literature, water.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Probably too many things!? Women, ideas for work or my side
projects - website or writing, my family and friends, planning or
ideas for travel near and far. What's going on with Brad and
Angelina - jk
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually out at an event or spending time with my friends or
sometimes like to just relax, hit the gym, read, watch the tube.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I would be more than happy to share "some" over a drink or two..

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you like what you see and what I wrote. If you're interested in
getting to know me, non-stalkerish, fun, don't take life too
seriously, are interested in meeting over a beverage and see if we
make a connection or even if it's just as friends. Don't message me
if you're interested in an email buddy - Call me old fashioned yet
I have a hard time actually getting to know someone from text or
emails? I am also not interested in meeting anyone who has a list
of their "perfect" match and expects to get to know or figure out
that someone right away to define if that guy meets said criteria.
NOTE - if you do want some kind of contact please don'd do the
"Someone Chose you" thing - it does not even work? Just "wink" at
me or something if you're a bit shy.
