My self-summary
I was born across the pond. At a pretty early age I began performing music with my family.

Having at one time lived in a warzone for several years, I acquired a great appreciation for having the right number of limbs, for dark humor, and for perspective.

I love technology and science. I get a kick out of solving problems. I also love sports, playing the piano, completely barefoot running, being in nature, juggling, dancing like Zorba the Greek (or at least trying), writing and performing poetry...

As active as I tend to be most days, I also believe that slowing down to enjoy everyday moments of joy and clarity is essential.

I enjoy meditating - whether while sitting, running, playing sports, or otherwise. It helps to be collected and present in an often frantic, fast-paced world.

P.S. Keep in mind that I cannot see who you are if you 'like' me. A short message would work much better.
What I’m doing with my life
Something unique. Ask for details.
I’m really good at
Laughing. Solving problems. Making people feel at ease. Competing. Getting lost in the moment. Being the fly in the ointment. Being curious and quizzical.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have gotten comments about my smile and my pronounced jawline.

The six things I could never do without
Including people and activities as well:

1. Family and closest friends
2. Expanding boundaries
3. The ability to ask uncomfortable questions
4. Beauty
5. Music
6. Hope
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Possible futures. Money and freedom. J. S. Bach's Goldberg Variations. How to grow and develop. Cosmology. Psychology. Physics. Biotechnology. Artificial intelligence. Cognitive dissonance. Emotions.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either working at home, going for a run, or going to a play / concert / dance.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have no shirt on.
You should message me if
You are an interesting and warm-hearted person. You strive to say what you mean and mean what you say. You also strive not to put on a fake smile in photos. You seek the truth even when doing so is unpleasant. And while capable of being serious, you find it easy to laugh at yourself and at life's many absurdities.
