Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Well hell, I never really know what to put here. I'm crazy, kooky,
and more random than most people would guess by lookin' at me. I'm
a totally out lesbian, but I do find the (very) occasional guy
attractive on a "I like lookin' at 'em but that's about it" kind of
level. It's usually the very feminine guys that catch my eye, and
the at least slightly masculine- butch girls that drive me wild.
I'm a casual game addict, an occasional drunken dancer (you have
been warned), a "crappy but totally fine with it" artist of various
media, a grammar geek but definitely not a nazi about it, and the
mistress of sometimes funny, possibly unfunny sarcastic humor that
some people get and others don't. When the shower curtain is closed
I'm a completely unashamed nekkid rock star. If I'm quiet I'm
thinking, and look out world, sometimes when I think scary things
follow. I'm kind of girly, but mostly natural about it. I'm
slightly "manly", but only in that "I'll carry heavy stuff and can
(usually) squish my own spiders" kind of way. I'm a subtle flirt,
and a not so subtle cuddle-bug. Seriously, some days I crave
cuddles like alcoholics crave beer.
I don't tolerate lies, BS, or drama in my life, so if you have a
tendency to argue over nothing, fight/scream when an adult
conversation would resolve the issue with much less pain and
emotional trauma, or change your story every time we talk I
wouldn't bother getting to know me 'cause you'll be outta my life
pretty quick when I figure you out. Otherwise, well you know where
I'm at, and now you know a bit about me to get ya started! Anything
else, just ask. Peace, Pride, and Prestidigitation. :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a CNA at a residential care facility, and I love it. I do
eventually want to further my education, but I'm not quite sure
exactly what field I want to pursue. I've been branching out and
exploring my interests and talents quite a bit. I am rather
artistically inclined, and I spend a lot of my free time pursuing
my muse. I am also very dedicated to getting fit and have been
making lifestyle changes toward that end for almost a year now. I'm
not so much concerned about how I look, it's really all about being
the strongest and healthiest me I can be that keeps me motivated.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Drawing, ignoring my (usually accurate) intuition, being awkward,
finding the right music for every moment, being there for the
people I care about, and catching rogue chinchillas.
The first things people usually notice about me

People usually notice my mouth straight out the gate. It's cute,
sassy, framed by some juicily plump lips, and occasionally loud as
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I have to pick favorites? Damn. I don't really watch much tv, but I
do love Orange is the New Black, Hemlock Grove, Game of Thrones,
How It's Made, Dexter, and pretty much all 90's Nickelodeon and
Cartoon Network shows. I like my television time to be both
entertaining and enlightening for the most part. As far as music
goes I'm an open book. Not a huge fan of opera or country (although
I'm tolerant of both), and I love finding new bands (but I'm not
obsessed with it). I like music with a good beat for dancing,
R&B for the emotional moments and le sexy time, and rap when
I'm pissed. Food? I'm pretty good in the kitchen, but I can't say
I've got a specific favorite food. I adore trying out pretty much
anybody's "special dish", which is another way of saying that I
appreciate my friends' culinary creativity. I like too many movies
to list, from dumb and funny to thought provoking, action packed to
"grab your girl and hold on tight" scary. My favorite way to spend
a Saturday night is cuddled up on the couch with a great girl, a
bowl of popcorn, and a movie. Books are another subject entirely,
and I really do think there should be a separate section just for
my love of books. I read constantly. It's an escape, sure, but also
the best way to learn without setting foot in a classroom. I've got
a new intellectual interest every week, and my books tend to
reflect that. I actually own more books than I own clothes, movies,
or anything else for that matter, and the library is the best place
in my town. I've read literally thousands of books, and I've liked
most of them, or at least parts of most of them.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I believe that all things in life are temporary, but some things in
life are absolutely necessary regardless of the form they take. The
things that are most necessary to me are music, good friends,
showers/baths, laughter, art, and Chapstick.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Most people would tell you that rather than thinking about one
thing for a lot of time I tend to think about most things entirely
too much. I like to examine situations, questions, and pretty much
everything else from all angles, but overanalyzing is sometimes a
blessing and a curse for both me and whoever else is involved. It
may bug ya, just sayin'. :P
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either working, hanging out with friends, or getting some 'me'
time, depending on the week I've had.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am an extroverted introvert. Most people who know me casually
will tell you that I talk more than the average bear, and I'm good
with hanging out in groups, but it really does wear on me to be
outgoing sometimes, especially if I don't know the other people
involved. I get worn out socially after a while and usually need to
go somewhere private to regroup.
